"Let's see, how about pink and black lace?" Ashton asked as I could hear him rummaging through piles of underwear.

"Ashton, seriously? You're crazy," I laughed, only imagining the looks we were getting.

"Mum never takes you shopping and I want to have a day with you. I don't care that you're my sister. You need something in your life."

"Thanks for making me sound desperate, asshole." Punching his arm playfully, I quietly chuckled to myself and felt him sit numerous pairs of underwear in my arms. Keeping my cool and playing it off,I internally squealed.

"Everybody needs to get laid and you're too beautiful not to," he laughed and tugged on my hand to walk through the store.

"Ellen?" A voice squealed. Oh my god, I recognized the voice. Katie Lauritzen. My arch nemesis.

"Katie?" I smiled, trying not to shoot myself.

"It's so good to see you. I didn't know you had a boyfriend," she replied.

"Oh, he's n-"

"She's my beautiful girl," Ashton played along, knowing how much I hate her.

"How long have you two been together?"

"A year today actually. Taking her shopping for our anniversary," Ashton chirped, kissing my cheek and I wanted to kick him in the balls.

"That's really interesting, because a year ago, she was dating Shane McCarrow," Katie countered. Fuck my fucking life.

"He's the one I left Shane for," I replied, stepping closer to Ashton and felt him kiss my cheek again.

"Well, I'll hope to see you at homecoming in a few weeks and then the winter ball. I've gotta run, but it was great to see you," Katie trilled and Ashton let out an exasperated sight as she walked out of the store.

"Thank you," I breathed.

"What a bitch," he whispered

"I've got a few more months to deal with her then, I'm off to Duke and she's content at UCLA," I shrugged and could feel him taking the underwear from my hands.

"Your total is $389.45," the cashier chirped and I thought I was going to throw up.

"Ashton!" I whispered.

"You deserve it," he mumbled and I could hear her opening a bag. I hated when people spent money on me. It made me feel like even more of a charity case than I already was.

"Alright lovely lady. We got you your sexy lingerie, we just need to get you some makeup from Mac, maybe a little Chanel, and find a dress, perfume, and then get you all dolled up."

"You sound like Blake," I laughed as we walked through the mall.

"I know, but, I've embraced the fact that I am a straight guy that wants to help my sister. Plus, having a girlfriend kind of helps too," he joked.

"Y'all broke up, but it's okay. Thank you so much for doing this with me," I smiled.

"You're my baby sister and mom is mom. You deserve it." As the day went on, my arms got heavier and heavier with bags as we shopped and by the time we got back to his car, my legs were aching.

"Now, we can go home and see what Harry has to say to you," he teased as we drove down the road.

"Ashton, seriously?"

"Yes! We just have to get Harry to talk to you again and he'll really like you."

"I swear it's not gonna happen. He's just being nice because I'm blind."

"You'll see eventually."

"Yeah, eventually, he'll stop messaging me."
