Ellen's POV:
Eating quickly, I sighed as the doctor and a nurse walked through the door.
"Miss Canniff! I'm Dr.Scmidt. How are you feeling?"
"I feel like crap and this backboard is killing me."
"That's why we came. We're gonna get you off of it and out a back brace on your lower back to help ease the stress on the fracture."
"Thank God," I sighed as the nurse turned me on my side slowly and began to pull the backboard out from under me. Groaning slightly at my ribs and torso throbbing with pain as she placed the back brace on my lower back, Harry sat oddly quiet in the corner.
"That's much better isn't it?" the short nurse smiled and I only nodded as pain shot through my back.
"We're gonna keep you here overnight for one more night and then we can try to get you home tomorrow," Dr.Schmidt said calmingly.
"Thank you," I smiled slightly, sinking into the soft bed and closing my eyes with relief.
"Do you have any questions for us, honey?" Looking at Dr. Schmidt's perfect teeth, I tried to think.
"Um, how and when can I shower?"
The doctor began to laugh, "They have special plastic you can put over it, but if you have a trash bag over it or take a bath and keep your leg out, you'll still be fine."
"Awesome," I nodded.
"I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding help with taking a shower," he teased, looking at Harry.
"Thanks, doc." We all began to laugh and I couldn't help but blush and shake my head.
"Alright," he chuckled. "Y'all take it easy." Rolling my eyes and looking at Harry, I continued to shake my head as the door closed behind them.
"You know what this means?" I asked as Harry pulled his chair back next to my bed.
"What?" Harry chuckled.
"I'm gonna have a hell of a time getting Blakely to help me shower," I slightly smiled and ruffled Harry's hair.
"Why would Blakely help you shower? I'll be with you," he replied. I swear, I could faint every time I hear his accent.
"You'll be on tour," I shrugged. "I could take a bath by myself, actually."
"What makes you think I'll be on tour? I need to be here for you."
"Harry, you're in the biggest boyband in the world. Traveling obviously comes with the job."
"I can't even believe you'd think I'd just leave."
"I mean, I'm kind of used to people leaving. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if you went back on tour." His facial expression softened to one of sympathy and he stood to kiss my forehead.
"I'm not leaving until you get better," he murmured. "I don't give a shit what management says."
"Harry, I'm serious. Everybody is going to be pissed about you not being there and that's not fair to you or them."
"I said I'm not leaving and I'm not." His tone was slightly filled with annoyance, but he was still nice about it.
"Alright. I'm sorry for pushing it," I shrugged. He was 20, he could do whatever he wanted.
