"Hi, Gregory, how are you and Linette doing today?" Tracey asked as she met up with them after the service.
"We are doing okay, and you Tracey? Gregory asked.
"I'm waiting for my exam results if I pass I'll receive my nurse's diploma. Please think of me, will you?"
"You're so devoted, you will ace it," Gregory answered and winked at Linette.
"I hope so, anyway, can we go next Sunday to Lindie's, the week after that is Christmas. I think Donavan will also be free, then he can join us."
"That will be nice, Linette, will you go with us? You will enjoy it. We leave at about eight o'clock here and return at about three." Gregory asked.
"It will be nice, I'll talk to my aunt and let you know. There is Jessica, she saw us and is heading this way."
"Hi, Jessica! Tracey cried and gave her a hug. "Then I'll see you guys next Sunday, here at eight, goodbye Jessie, goodbye Linette, and Gregory she said and waved at them as she turned and walked off.
"Hi Jessica," Linette cried and hugged her tight. "How are you doing?"
"I missed you guys so much," she said and gave Gregory a big hug around his legs.
"Hey, what're the tears for." He asked as he picked her up and hugged her properly. "You know we missed you too, but we're going to have our ice cream now and we're going to have some fun."
"Yes, we're sure going to have fun," Linette said and smiled secretly at Gregory.
While they were eating their ice cream, Linette produced a parcel from her bag. "I know it's a little late for your birthday, but here is a..., we can call it a friendship present for you. If you miss us, you can read the stories and think of us."
"Oh! Thank you, thank you so much! I love it, now I can read my own stories. I know this word, it's f r i e n d s. I can read it and I love Winnie the Pooh." She threw her little arms around Linette's neck and gave her a long hug. "I'm so happy and I'm so lucky I've got a friend like you and a big brother and she got onto Gregory's lap and gave him another hug.
"Hmm," He said," here is a lot of hugging going on today. I think I know now what you want for Christmas."
"Another book." She laughs, "I love books and if I know how to read, I'm going to read lots and lots of books."
"I'm sure you will, you are such a clever little girl and I hope you will find some time to write us some letters too." Linette smiled.
"Hmm, these presents never stops." Her grandma says as she sat down at the table. "I hope you were not in a hurry, Sue and I can't stop talking when we meet up with each other."
"Nope, we had a lot of fun and we were so lucky to have a little bit of extra time," Gregory said as he drew his little sister into another tight hug.
"Bey, Gregory, and bye my best friend," Jessica said as she threw her little arms around Linette's neck to give her another hug and kissed her goodbye. "Thank you for the book."
