You stood in the bedroom you and Daniel shared, the faint yelling of Jack and Zach in the background as you stared in the black framed mirror that hung on the wall. As you were putting your hair in a sock bun you felt arms wrap around your waist, smiling when you see Daniels face find a place in your neck in the reflection of the mirror.

Daniel frowned as his head snapped back up, noticing how bad you were shaking.

"Princess turn around" He whispered, the frown never leaving his face as he took your shaking hands in his.

"You don't have to go, we can stay here and we can cuddle, maybe even kiss a little. Don't do this to yourself again, please" He whispered as your face fell, you knew he was right. You shouldn't be doing to this to yourself again but you had a little hope that this time your parents would be different.

"I have to Danny, they might be different this time" You told him, refusing to meet his eyes. Daniel looked at you with sad eyes, he was so broken hearted by the fact that he knew they wouldn't be different but you had so much hope in you that they would be.You had told him about your parents asking you to lunch yesterday, just like they did once every three months. And after every lunch they had invited you to since you had started dating Daniel you had come home to cry in his arms for hours as all they did was rip you and your relationship apart over a very expensive meal. They spent the time talking about how your brothers were doing so much better than you, that they were living up to the expectations your parents had set for them but that you weren't, asking if you were still 'dating that musical hoodlum who's using you for your money'.

You were raised into a family with money, a lot of it and your parents had decided that buying your love was better than actually spending any time with you or loving you the way normal parents should. It worked on all your older siblings, but for you(being the baby of the family) always wanted more than that, you wanted to be loved and cared for, you wanted someone to be proud of you and for that they had always been the rudest to you. Growing up you were alone, you hardly had parents and your siblings were all 4+ years older than you and weren't fans of you.

Your parents always played the two part act, they wanted nothing to do with the heavy lifting of being a parent but they liked to take credit for 'raising' you when you did something amazing and they liked to throw their opinions and be disappointed at you when you did something wrong.

Your parents have never approved of Daniel, their opinions had never changed over the past 3 years of you dating him and every time they made a comment about him it broke your heart a little more, every time you met them you had hope they would change their mind with all the amazing stories of him you had shared with them, but they always found a way to ruin it and it was so devastating. You had spent your whole life trying to impress them and every time you tried harder they seemed to hate you more.

Daniel had been the first person to show you what love and appreciation was, he was soft and gentle with you. He took care of you in a way no one had ever before, he was the absolute love of your life and it killed you to watch the people who were supposed to want you to be happy try to break that love apart.

"Are you ready?" He asked, walking back out of the washroom. You smiled as you saw how handsome he looked, hair all done and a huge smile on his face. The smile you had fallen In love with.

"You don't have to come danny, I-" You started but Daniel cut you off, placing his hands on your hips and bringing you close to him-chest to chest. He placed a kiss on the corner of your mouth, just missing your lips slightly before taking one hand and moving it to your cheek, rubbing right under your eye before letting out a small breath and smiling at you as if you were the most beautiful girl on earth.
