Look at me,
I just can't believe,
What they've done to me,
We could never get free,
I just want to be,
I just wanna dream,-J. Cole

Sitting in my car in front of my parents contemplating on if I should go in or not. Memories of my mom telling me I would never amount to nothing and how she wish I was a boy came roaming in my head as my head rested against the seat staring at the house. The sun was now starting to set, boy was it beautiful. I was thinking about leaving but I want to see my little brother so I decided to get out the car.
Sporting my all blue black pyramid sweat suit with my all white high top forces with a white nike hat. The pyramid on my jacket was white and centered, a white stripe going down both sides of my arms and legs on the sleeves and pants legs. I went against wearing a purse today, just wanted to be comfortable without any extras. Fixing my hat on my head I grabbed my phone and called Noah to come open the door. After the thirst ring he answered.
"Wassup K?" his semi-deep voice blared through the phone.
"Come open the door." I said then hung up while standing on the porch. No more than a minute later I heard the locks turning and the door opened.
"Wassup?" My brother said stepping to the side letting me in closing the door.
"Nothing nigga, I missed you so I decided to stop by" I smiled hugging him. My brother was almost taller than me. Well 5'6, he's growing up on me. He had his hair in a fro with the ends looking nappy but really when you put your hands in it, you would be like "what the fuck? Why it's so soft?" He had a tape, looking all spiffy. He was Carmel going into the brown side, he plays football so he's getting darker. His all white perfect teeth and full set lips. He had on his black Nike Alumni shorts, with Nike and the check in white with his red polo boxers with the word polo in blue going around the waistband. He had a football booty, yes sitting right. He had broad shoulders, so he was buff if that's how you put it.
"Can't complain about that, I don't get that often" he mumbled letting me go. I know he felt someway about me not coming around but how can you not blame me. I decided to change the subject.
"Where they at?" I said referring to our parents as we walked in the living room so he could finish playing his game. The house was still the same, we wasn't like other families with pictures hanging on the walls, dinning table so we can eat together. Everybody did their own thing growing up, never had discuss how our day was. Only my brother and I. As we got older, we got closer being that he was able to relate to me now.
"Dad on the grill and you know yo mom in her room being annoying" he said rolling his eyes starting up the game. My brother started not to really fuck with our mom because she's controlling and think she knows it all. She always had something to say and it always mad us distant ourself from her. Well, that's not the only reason with me. Noah didn't get to see that side of her but he was aware of it.
