Genji wondered around the HQ, unknowing of what to do. Sighing, he let his feet carry him to the living area, where no one was.
It was the morning after he had arrived. Thinking about it, a lot happened yesterday. It was truly, insane.
The cyborg plopped onto the couch and drummed his fingers of his own mechanical chest. Aside from the drumming noise, there came footsteps from the hall. Genji ignored them, probably McCree or Winston. Though, these footsteps were softer than their footsteps would ever be. Probably Hana or Mei. But why would they be up at 6 am?
"Genji?" A soft voice asked. Genji peered over his shoulder, surprised to see Angela.
"Oh. Good morning doctor. How was your rest?" Genji asked, getting up and walking towards Angela who was currently in the kitchen.
"I slept fine. Yours?" Angela asked while grabbing a white porcelain bowl, along with a packet of oatmeal and cinnamon. Genji grabbed a bar stool and rested his hands on the island in the middle of the fairly clean kitchen.
"Doctor, I don't sleep." He reminded her."Oh. I'm sorry, I forgot. I just wanted to continue the conversation, heh." Angela gave a nervous chuckle, and continued with making her breakfast.
"Oh! I'm sorry, yes of course you can continue the conversation I'm sorry to interrupt you I didn't mean any harm I-" Genji talked at a rapid pace, his arms moving along at the pace. He stopped at Angela's giggle. He gave a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Slow down Genji, you'll overheat your processor." She giggled again, placing a bowl in front of her and sitting across from Genji.
"Don't you mean my brain?" Genji asked playfully. "Brain, processor. Tomato, tomaato. Is there any difference?" Angela tilted her head while giving the choices with a wide smile across her face. Genji shrugged and leaned back. "I don't know you tell-" Genji was about to finish his sentence when he fell out of his stool, hitting the wooden floor with a loud thunk.
Angela burst out laughing, holding her stomach tight while giggling with no end. She rocked back and forth, her mouth wide open with the edges of it curving upwards.
"Genji." She breathed. "Are-are you...okay?" She managed to say in between fits of laughter. It got to the point where it was so contagious, as Genji got up, he fell down again do him laughing so much along with Angela.
She slapped the countertop in agony, tears streamed out of her eyes.
"ANGELA!" He yelled, laughing. "ST-STOP GOD DAMN...L-LAUGHING!" He yelled again, slapping a hand to his faceplate that covered his forehead. She breathed slowly, trying to calm her heart. Wiping the tears, Angela had finally allowed Genji to get up safely, and sit back in his seat.
"I swear to god, I'm going to piss myself." Angela exclaimed, in the process of calming herself down.
"M-my aplogies Genji, I honestly don't know why I found that so funny." She smiled, starting to eat her breakfast.
"I was only laughing because you were. It's very contagious." He stated, again resting his chin on his hand.
"What the hell happened?" Jack said, walking into the kitchen and eyeing the two suspiciously. Angela and Genji glanced at each other, and snorted, Angela covering her mouth to keep herself from laughing.
"Do not worry about it, commander." Genji said, avoiding eye contact with Jack.
Jack was currently in his pajamas, with a blue sweater and grey sweatpants, he wore white bunny slippers. His grey hair was messed up, as his eyes looked slightly droopy, most likely from him just waking up.
The commander rubbed his face, muttering something by about 'youngsters'. "Gotta make breakfast." He groaned, and grabbed a apron.
Kiss the dad76.The original writing had 'Kiss the Cook', but cook had been crossed out with black marker and replaced with dad76. Genji smiled to himself, and placed his attention to Angela. She was wearing red pajamas, a red button up with red shorts. He let his eyes wander until he saw Jack at the stove.
"That's a lot of pancake batter for one person," Genji said, taking notice of Jack cooking.
Jack looked over his shoulder and scoffed. "Who said this was for one person?" He pointed out. "Who else then?" Genji asked.
"Hana and Lucio." He answered. Genji blinked a few times to finally register what he was saying."Hana doesn't know how to cook, and Lucio likes not having to cook." Angela explained, already done with her oatmeal, putting of her items away.
"So, I'm guessing this is where the whole, 'dad76' stuff came from?" Genji asked.
"Oh, there's a lot more that he does to get that title for both of them." Angela says, briefly touching Jacks shoulder and giggling. He busts scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Plus," Angela walks to Genji and leans in whispering, "he likes being a parent to them." She smiled and took a step back. The cyborg chuckled, his shoulders shaking with him.

•LATER THAT DAY•
Genji raced across the streets, Talon agents close behind. They're close! I need some back up, please! Genji panted into his earpiece. Genji jumped and ran on the walls, hopeful to knock their possible aim off of him. He continued to jump from building to building, the Talon agents still clearly being able to see him from below.
"I am coming, hold yer horses, Genji." Jesse McCree replied, rushing to be at his friends aid. He looks up and the next thing he knows he sees Genji running on walls, occasionally throwing shurikens at Talon agents who shoot at him.
"Over here, you brainwashed bozos!" Jesse yells, catching the foot solders attention. Seeing him as an easier target, the rush towards him and start shooting. Luckily, Jesse being prepared, he managed to dodge their bullets and fire back. Though, they stopped firing. He saw Genji swing his sword and kill them all.
"Good job Genji!" Jesse exclaimed, smiling wildly. Genji ran past him, giving a thumbs up.
They both rushed towards the others, seeing as they had cleared the place out of Talon. The day was saved, and the innocent civilians cheered and thanked the heroes. After the mission, they returned home.Genji stepped off the helicopter, only to be greeted by a large hug.
"Genji! So glad to see you back!" Angela exclaimed. Letting Genji go, she looked at his body, making sure he was okay.
"I would never leave you." He replied, ruffling Angela's hair up and walking towards the inside of base, Angela right besides him. They talked of the mission, Genji giving details and Angela listening intensely.
"We should get you checked up." Angela said, leading Genji to the medical bay.
"No, I'm fine. I promise, Angela. You should check on Jesse and Mei. I worry for their sake more than mine." Genji stopped the two, explaining himself. "Yes, but I worry for you as well. You might feel fine, but are you?" Angela argued back, tilting her head. The cyborg chuckled, "Angela, there is only so much to feel." He smiled, even though Angela couldn't see it.
