Why did she join Talon?

What could have possibly screwed her over so bad, but made her so powerful that Talon wanted her, and that she agreed?

One thing: death.

The 25 year old Vanessa Lansky lived a normal life. Until, until that...that thing happened.

She didn't hate omnics. She hated people.

Machines were this young engineers only friend when people took her everything away. Never having parents, or friends, she had her lifestyle. Until they came in and took it all away. Trying to kill her, by throwing her into the ocean.

"Where she can rust, along with her stupid machines."

Washing ashore, she wrecked havoc where ever she went. This is when she realized her power.

Intelligence.

With her view of the world much like Sombras, she just addressed it differently.

With brute force.

She kept her identity a secret, but was well known. "Ace" sent chills down others spines.

It might not sound intimidating, but when you hear about what she's done? It's terrible. She was later recruited by Talon and has never lost, or missed a target. And she doesn't plan too.

BACK IN OW HQ.

Winston knocked on Angela's door, waiting patiently for her to answer. He could hear the floor board creaking under her weight as she walked around the room to answer the door.

"Yes?" She answered, dressed in casual clothing. Winston smiled at her. "Here, Ana wanted you to have this. She would've given it to you herself but she is attending to important matters currently." Winston grunted and handed Angela a beige folder that was labeled 'ANGELA' in bold, red letters.

"Oh?" Angela reacted, taking the folder carefully from Winstons big hands. Winston waved goodbye and walked down the hall. Angela closed her door and walking further into her room, sitting on her white bed.

Opening the folder were pictures.
Of Genji.

Him in his usual cyborg suit, a close up of his face, and pictures of them together before and after the disband of OverWatch. Angela was over taken with nostalgia. She laughed to herself, seeing a picture of Genji having spilled strawberry ice cream all over himself, he managed to fry some of his wires and Winston had to carry him back to HQ.

Flipping through the photos also made her sad, seeing him in his blackwatch days. He was so furious all the time, grumpy, unknowing of how to deal with his new body. This new pain. Not only physically, but mentally. To have to face the fact that his own brother, that he loved and trusted, tried to kill him? Angela remembered thinking of how horrible it must've been.

Sighing to herself, she puts the photos back into the folder and lays down on her bed, now engaged on memories of her past with Genji. She wanted to have fun with him again, but she didn't know if he would even like to hang out with her anymore. Angela rubbed her eyes and groaned.

"Emotions." She mumbled. Stretching out on her small bed, she closes her eyes, reliving the events, so desperately wanting to live them again.

Yet another knock came from her door.

"Who is it?" She asked. "Lucio!"

"What is it?"

"Uh..medical assistance needed!"

Angela rushed out of bed and opened the door. Lucio stood on the other side, an all too happy look on his face.

"Who is hurt?" She asked hurriedly. "Genji. Of a broken heart." Lucio answered. "Huh?" Angela's muscles started to loosen. "You see," Lucio started to explain, "Ana gave him this folder, yeah? Well, Hana over heard him cryin', so I'm thinking, 'how do we make him feel better?' And then, idea!" He snaps his fingers. "Angela, of course! So, get out there! Make him feel better!" Lucio smiled widely.

"Well, it is sad to hear him upset, but there is no way he would want to possibly hang out with me, Lucio. He must be upset for another reason." Angela answered him. Lucio frowned at this. "I thought you had better self-esteem, Angela. Of course he's upset over you!"

Angela blinked, "well, I will see what I can do." She said, moving her hands along with her speech. Lucio gave her the thumbs up and skated down the hall. Angela sighed heavily and closed her door once again.

How would she fix this? She a doctor, not a therapist! Tapping her chin she gave up. She had an idea, a stupid one at that.

"Genji?" Angela asked behind him. Genji turned his head to a beautiful, smiling Angel. "Oh! Angela, hello!" He beams. "How are you?" He asks. "I'm okay," she giggled. "So, I was wondering if I could ask you a question?" She tilted her head. "Of course! Anything for you!"

"Would...uh, heh. Would you like to go and get ice cream with me?" Angela asked. Genji couldn't remove his eyes from her red lips. "Like the old times?" She asked, hopeful. Angela couldn't see it, but Genji had the goofiest grin they couldn't ever see. He then bowed deeply. "I would be honored."
