Angela couldn't believe it.

How can someone feel pity for...that monster?

"She tried murdering you!" Angela attempted to reason, only for Genji to shake his head. "Vanessa has done nothing nice or kind in her whole career!" She yelled, only for Genji to gently shake his head and take her hands.

She was sick of it.

8 days she slaved over his body, 8 days where she cried silently, wondering if he would ever come back. She sat in her office, her eyes staring into nothingness.

Genji was out on another mission. She had to find that device and do something.

Angela got up and out of her swivel chair, walking to the door and entering the hallway. She rushed outside, and out the main gate, angrily walking her way to town.

She bought some groceries and walked back, setting them in the kitchen she angrily made soup with a grilled cheese sandwich.

And she plopped the sandwich onto a plate, hands wrapped around her waist and a chin rested on her shoulder. Angela looked over to see a masked Genji.

"Hello, lovely." Genji said and sighed. Angela furrowed her eyebrows. "Genji, we're in public. Get off before someone sees us."

"But what if I just want to hug you?" His voice was slightly slurred and sloppy. Oh no, Angela thought, tightening her grip on the spatula she was holding. "Genji...are you..drunk?" She asked wearily.

Genji scoffed, "Me? Drunk? Never!" He declared, holding her tighter. Angela got out of his grip and gently pushed him away. "Genji, get to your room before you embarrass yourself.

"You can't tell me what to do." He said. Angela narrowed her eyes. "I certainly can. Now go before I beat you." The doctor placed her hands on her hips.

Genji snorted, "beat me?"

"Did McCree get you drunk?"

Genji rose a hand hesitantly before speaking, "uh..McCree said I can't say." Angela pinched the bridge of her nose. "Go to your room, Genji."

"No!" He exclaimed, folding his arms on his chest, looking like a metallic toddler. Angela growled. "Now." She growled. Genji shook his head firmly. He took a step forwards and their faces touched. Angela felt the cold of his mask and had to squint her eyes because of the green light emitting from his visor.

"What are you doing, Genji?"

"Kissing you."

"Oh." Angela replied, confused. McCree rushed into the room, his hair was a mess and an alert look upon his face. He gasped, seeing the two. "Ahhh...Angela.." he walked up, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Angela stepped away from Genji, who stumbled backwards. Angela folded her own arms on her chest and scowled at McCree

"What have you done to my boyfriend, Jesse?" Angela spat. McCree gave a nervous chuckle. She used my real name. Fuck.

"I um...I didn't do a thang. He is just...delusional! From...being so tired. Yes. That's it." McCree snapped his fingers, satisfied with his own lie. "Jesse, I'm a doctor. I'm sure I can tell the difference between being tired and being drunk."

The words of McCree yelling at Genji "CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG." And, "Angela won't notice a thing!" And also, "I'll give you my hat if you drink so much you puke."

He inhaled sharply through his mouth, his grip tightening. "Okay, we might have had one drink."

Angela scoffed. "What the fuck did you do?"

"Okay, okay." He rose his hands in defense. "I just...we were bored and something was obviously bothering him so I offered we went to get some drinks and.." he gestured to the ninja was now on the floor, laying on his back.
"That happened."

"Well now you're taking care of his hangover and drunk him! I don't have enough patience right now." Angela growled. McCree's frown deepened. "Woah, you okay there, Angela? Is something going between y'all? I-I know it ain't my place to ask but...there's obviously something tugging at you too, just like him."

Angela adverted her eyes to the floor. "No." She swallowed hard, trying not to cry. "I'm..I'm fine. Just drag Genji away before he ruins something." Angela stepped over her drunk boy friend and picked up the white porcelain plate with her now cold grilled cheese on it.

McCree rubbed the back of his neck, and helped Genji up. Together, the wobbled their way down the hall and out of sight.

Angela quickly wiped away a tear, inhaling deeply before picking up her sandwich and staring at it with dead eyes. She suddenly didn't feel very hungry. Dropping it, she pushed the plate away and put her head in her hands, scrunching up her hair. Angela swiftly got up and, yet again, left the house.

She wandered to a crafts store, her sneakers made a small clanking noise as they hit the marble floor. Her hand skimmed the different types of planks in the back of the small store, elevator music played over the speaks.

"Interesting selection here, yes?"

Angela still continued to look at the planks. "Uh, yes, I suppose."

"I recommend the oak for anything like a shed. Though, you wouldn't need a shed, would you?"

Angela furrowed her eyebrows, and looked over. The sight made her freeze up.

Vanessa had her hair in a tight French braid, her casually looking at the planks. She blocked the only exit. She wore a jean jacket along with boots and black leggings.

If Angela wasn't so afraid at the moment, she would have complimented the villains outfit.

"What?" Vanessa's eyes travelled over. "Afraid?"

Angela's mouth quickly dried as it hung open, her brain searched for words but her mouth refused to speak. An evil grin crossed against Vanessa's tan face. "Let's see," Vanessa reached inside her jacket and pulled out a dagger, the handle was wrapped around in brown leather while the tip looked very, very pointy. Dangerous type of pointy.

"You humiliated me. Injured me, injured my reputation, and now I am taken as a joke, because of you. You think I like that? If you do, you're very, very wrong." She spat, narrowing her eyes at Angela, ending her statement with threateningly pointing the dagger tip at her.

"And so," Vanessa flipped her dagger and played with the tip. "I'm here to finish my job, get my rep back, and finish my mission." She bent the blade back.

Vanessa quickly looked around, seeing if anyone was there. "Where is he..?"

As if right on cue, the door to the ship slammed open. Genji stepped through, his blade out. Vanessa snapped her fingers, satisfied.

"St-step..away, bastard." Genji got into a stance uneasily, his feet sliding on the floor. He was still very much drunk.

Vanessa narrowed her eyes at him, and looked at Angela over her shoulder. "You serious right now?" The red-head snorted, placing a hand on her hip. "Is he actually drunk? Pfft!" She bit her lip, containing her laughter. "O-okay, anyways," Vanessa took out a communication device from her ear and crushed it in her fist.

"Let's go, knight in shining armor." Vanessa teased, and slowly started walking towards him, leaving an opening for Angela. She took it, rushing towards Genji at top speed, both scared and confused.

Vanessa ran forwards and dodged Genji's strike, which was slow and off balanced. Vanessa sighed, and started to move very sluggishly to seemingly match up with Genji.

Angela furrowed her eyebrows, watching the battle go on. Something was very wrong. Knowing Vanessa and her fighting style, more of the Ace's fighting style, Genji should have been broken in half by now in his state.

Something was very, very wrong.
