Genji sat by himself. Thinking.

His legs were crossed, a brand new face-plate adorned his face. He couldn't stand his flesh. He didn't think others could either. So, he hid it again with a new face plate. It was no burden to him, even if Angela was upset about it.

Light footsteps came from behind, and stopped besides Genji. Then there was a small thud. Genji opened his eyes. He still had to get used to looking through his visor again.

"Hello, Genji." Angela smiled at him. "Hello, doctor." Genji greeted. Angela looked away for a moment before addressing the ninja again. "You look...nice." She tried.

Genji gave her an odd look, even though she couldn't see it. "I'm..glad you think so, Doctor."

Angela seemed troubled.

"What is wrong?" Genji asked in the nicest voice he could muster in his current, painful state. Angela glanced up, and sighed heavily. "Where Is all this..'doctor' stuff coming from?" She asked hesitantly, straining her voice.

Genji frowned, "Well, you are a doctor, aren't you?" He said. "Certainly, but..." she looked away. "You address me on a professional level. I honestly...dare I say," she looked up to the sky. "Thought we were friends. Best friends." Angela closed her eyes, sighing. "Of course we are, why wouldn't we be-?"

"Because you have been avoiding me!" Angela said angrily. Genji blinked, "I'm...im sorry."

"Sorry won't cut it, Genji." Angela snapped. Genji was quiet for a moment, fiddling his thumbs. "I just..." he started after a moment. "I don't understand why."

"Why what?" Angela huffed, looking at his face plate. "Why you would be friends with this," Genji removed the barrier on his face, revealing a handsome, yet scarred face. His eyes were deep with sorrow and pain, in the back of his eyes was a calling. For help to ease everything he felt—emotionally and physically.

Angela paused, her breath quickened and she squeezed her left hand into a fist, balling it up as she store at the ground."Because," Angela began, angrier than before. "I love you, Genji!"

Everything stopped.

Genji's mouth was ajar, his eyes wide staring into Angela's, her face was red with embarrassment and anger, her back was hunched. She started to cry.

"I know it's so stupid, Genji. I know, I know." She sobbed into her hands, her lip quivering with disgust. "I know i don't deserve you, i don't deserve being saved-yet almost losing you made me realize how madly in love I am with you." She continued to sob. Genji slowly wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to his heart. She looked up, blinking.

Genji smiled softly, wrapping his legs around hers as he set his head on hers, letting her cry into his chest yet again.

"I love you too, Angela." He said weakly, holding back tears of his own. "I've loved you since...since blackwatch. Ever since I left I just...missed your laugh and smile and beautiful blonde hair. I guess...it wasnt until I lost you, I realized how much I needed you." He said without thinking. Yet it was genuine, coming straight from the heart. Angela sobbed even more, smiling widely. Genji cried even more, rocking back and forth.

"Geez, Angela. W-What are we even doing?" He laughed, wiping her tears. Angela smiled, letting Genji caress her face. "I don't know, but I want to do it with you," She whispered, their noses touching. Genji wrapped his arms around her even tighter.

Footsteps could be heard, and they were quick to separate. Though they didn't know why.

"There you are! Come on, we got something for ya, Genji." McCree smiled at them, walking to offer Angela a hand up. They followed him inside. The living quarters was filled with decorations, the residents having party hats and smiling brightly.

Genji was surprised, blinking rapidly. "Who, who are we surprising, exactly?" He asked, sheepishly, looking around. They laughed lightly, "You, silly!" Lena flashed over to him and gave him a hug. "Pretty much us sayin' we're glad your alive."

Genji gave a small chuckle, and lightly squeezed Lena in return. "Thank..thank you." He gazed into Angela's eyes, starting to tear up.

Angela gazed back, a sweet smile on her face. They stepped towards each other, and hugged each other tightly. Genji tried his best to not cry.

"We all love you, Genji." She whispered to him, pulling back. They all watched, grinning and smiling to themselves. Genji let go of her and walked into the crowd, some patted his back and started small talk. Genji's instinct kicked in, having been a master of talking smoothly. He tried to keep those memories tucked away.

Angela stayed by his side the whole time as he travelled around, herself secretly impressed on how he spoke, it was so natural. The Genji she knew was nervous. She wondered where it came from, but didn't ask.

"Ay, ay! Here's a little song dedicated to my favorite cyborg!" Lucio declared, flipping a disk and placing It in the dj booth. How could Genji not notice that?

Genji grinned, grabbing Angela's soft hands and dragged her into an open area, dancing terribly. Angela covered her mouth as he spun around on his heel, finger gunning her. She joined, lazily moving her arms as she shuffled her feet. Genji circled her, clapping to the beat and spinning around, stepping forwards and backwards like an idiot.

Angela laughed and clapped along, and soon enough the others join in, dancing in their own, funny ways. The song picked up beat and so did Genji, moving faster. He spread his legs, bumping his arms back and spinning around, ending, doing complex moves, and ended with a backflip. Angela gasped, and laughed. "Wow!" She gushed. "That was wonderful! I didn't realize you were such a good dancer!" She laughed. Genji blushed, realizing everyone had been watching him.

They clapped, hollering and cheering. Angela took Genji's hand and continued to dance with him, the others joining in. They stared into each other's eyes, the whole night long
