Days.

Angela tapped the pen on her desk repetitively. Her hair was a mess, her clothes dirty and sweaty. She hadn't left her office to shower or eat for days. She hunched over biting her nails as she stared blankly at a wall, the room was lighter by nothing but a simply desk lamp, the curtains behind her closed, zero sunlight shined through.

Papers littered both the floor around the desk and the desk itself, full of scribbles. Angela took many pictures and a simple hour to study Genji's dis-figured form. An hour was all she could take.

She was in love. This man had saved her at the coast of his own life, and now he sits inactive both with his brain and robotic parts.

Angela kept on telling herself she'd save him, even if he wasn't in love with her. She knew that if she saved him she would continue to love him. If she didn't save him...the same would happen.

She didn't want to live alone forever.

A small knock came from the door. In came D.Va, a small batch of cookies on a platter in her hands. "Uh, heyo, Angela.." Hana peered through the darkness and seeing the poor-shape that was Overwatches head doctor. She didn't exactly look healthy, her skin seemed gray and heavy bags weighed under her eyes.

"What do you want?" Angela replied in a tired, yet determined voice. Hana walked fully into the room. "Just brought some cookies, thought you could use them. Of course Jack helped. Everyone did. We're..worried."

"Well don't be," Angela seemed to snap, though it didn't sound very hostile. "I don't need your...worry." Angela replied, searching for words.

"Right..of course. How about we just take a shower, Yeah? No need to be cramped in a room where all you smell is your sweat, right? Heh.." Hana tried cautiously. Angela narrowed her eyes. "I have work to do, Hana. I have no time for..for showers." Angela dropped her pen but continued the motion of bouncing it on the desk, not realizing she lost it.

Hana blinked. "Right, I totally get that. But how can you..work, on an empty stomach, and hey, you know what they say, clean body, clean mind?"

Angela was too tired to argue. She agreed without question and lazily got up, and almost fell over. Luckily, Hana rushed over and caught her.

Hana helped the exhausted doctor wash up and put her to bed, after that she returned to the silent living quarters, which was once upon a time bouncing and lively with laughter and filled with the scent was sweet cinnamon and amber.

Now it smelled of nothing, Only a sad aura surrounding them.

Lucio looked up as she approached. "So?" He stepped forwards. "She's asleep. I say we should probably put out some food for when she wakes up." The others nodded and slowly, but surely, cleaned the kitchen and begun.

"How?" Angela whispered. She stood at the edge of a floating island, and inky black abyss surrounded this island, stars shining and nothing else.

Between her toes was soft, lush green grass. In the middle of the island was a mighty oak tree that seemed to never stop as it grew into the endless sky. Angela stared at the black void of space, a wind was blowing softly, even though nothing was producing it.

Angela was silent. She had this dream for such a long time since Genji's...accident . She stayed in the exact same spot, staring at the exact same path of stars and blackness each time.

She never thought of moving, not until now.

Forcing her head to move, she stared at the oak tree instead, her figure was tiny compared to the thick tree. Angela was unsure of what to do. She frowned, her blue eyes searched the ground.

A sound came from behind the tree.

Angela once again forced herself to move, walking around the tree. Behind it, was a golden chest. Angela nervously looked around, walked over to it and kneeled down to it. Her hands carefully reached out to it, opening it.

She gasped at the sight.

Angela woke up with a startle. She hurled the covers off her body and ran in the dark halls. A clock on the wall read 6:00 am. Angela barged into the mechanics room. She narrowed her eyes, clenching her fist.

She would save him.

Genji was still on his stomach, I.V attached to his flesh, food and water having to be filtered through his veins. His eyes were still closed.

Angela fought back tears, stepping forwards, her nose wrinkled with determination.
