"trust is like an eraser, it gets smaller and smaller after every mistake"

•annie

well, after we got the dorm room situation situated (a/n what am i even writing) we decided to take a tour of the campus.

our parents came with us because they wanted to see the campus as well.

honestly, i think they complained because they didn't want me rooming with someone of the opposite gender. it doesn't really bother me though.

i've said it many times especially to them, i am here to focus on schoolwork and getting a degree. not getting a boyfriend.

but who knows... anything can happen i guess.

...

while we were walking on the campus discovering places to eat, the bookstore, and other places, a girl came up to everyone.

"hi! my name is kat- wait annie, is that you?" we ran up to each other and hugged for a long time. it's been so long ever since she went to a different gym and started public school. we haven't seen each other since then.

"oh my gosh. i missed you so much," i could get out between our sobs.

"me too," she cried.

after awhile we pulled away and i introduced her to hayden, and then she said what she came for.

"so i'm having a back to school party in my dorm if you guys would like to come you are more then welcome!" she yelled handing us the invitations.

"we'll think about it." hayden said flashing his smile.

gosh he was so cute. how am i going to manage this whole year living with him? it's only the first day and i feel myself falling for him.

...

we went back to the dorm and said goodbye to our parents. it was bittersweet for me. i loved my mom and dad. i don't know how i'll feel being away from them, but they're close for whenever i need them.

we hugged for a long time until they left and honestly i was almost crying.

i miss them already.

hayden saw my face and started to comfort me.

"hey," he hugged me. "it'll be okay. we should get to know each other."

"okay." i agreed, even through i was a lot less than okay.

hey guys! i'm going to continue no matter what because my other story didn't start out well either so i will just keep trying. thank you for reading if you made it this far. more parts to come!!

xoxo
