i screeched from the corner of the room, immediately blowing my cover.

"annie," i heard brennan begin. "i'll be back in a week."

"okay brennan, see you then." i said rolling my eyes.

hayden was just about to shut the door completely when something unexpected happened.

brennan pushed the door back at him, hitting his head, causing hayden to pass out.

then he laughed and walked away.

we all gasped.

"HAYDEN!" i screamed in agony rushing to get to his side.

"an-annie," he said stuttering.

"i love you," he said before his world went completely black.
