"if i could i would feel nothing"

i heard the alarm and i dreaded this moment ever since i had moved into this dorm.

the first day of classes.

i slammed it off and then immediately groaned.

"what's wrong annie?" hayden questioned me while rubbing his eyes.

i glared at him. how did he not remember what today was?

"ohhhh... first day of classes," he answered again, rolling his eyes.

"mhmm hmm, and i'm going back to sleep. good night!" i threw the sheets over my head.

"annie we have class starting at nine, you need to get ready,"

i shot him a look.

it was too sweet that he actually cared about me.

"come on now, you can't be late on the first day."

"fine hayden, i'll listen to you."

"thank you. now go do whatever you humans of the feminine species do in the morning."

i laughed, then grabbed my bag and walked to the mirror.

i opened my bag and started doing my makeup with the foundation and everything, then the mascara.

"annie?"

"yes" i said still focusing on not poking my eye out.

"why are you putting on makeup?"

i paused to face him.

"you seriously don't need it. you look absolutely beautiful without it." he smirked at me with heart eyes.

"why thank you hayden but doing all this," i circled my hand around the makeup, "it's my choice. i want to look good for the day."

"well you already looked perfect annie. please cut it down a little, like a little less of that liquid thing you smear all over your face."

"what? you don't like all this?"

"well annie you look amazing either way so, it's your choice. just don't cake it."

and with that i started over.

...

15 minutes later and i can feel hayden staring at me.

i turn around quickly, "done!" i say.

"w-wow annie," his mouth dropped.

he was shirtless again, obviously he wasn't finished getting ready.

i examined him, trying not to blush, and then spoke.

"ahem hayden i think you should put a shirt on please."

he looked down at his body, "oh sorry i didn't even notice, but i know you like what you see." he said winking at me.

i rolled my eyes trying to take out that thought, but i really did like what i saw.

"hey after classes are done do you want to come work out in the gym with me?"

"sure hayden, but first we have to go to class."

"okay let's go." he said pulling his shirt over his head and walking out.

i followed him.
