"why would i still love you after you broke me"

in case you didn't remember...

this left hayden speechless.

"i felt something for her,"

"well that's how i feel." harvey said back to him.

"annie you have to make a decision," rush told me.

•third person

she ran.

and she ran as fast as she could.

she didn't know where she was going, or why she was running.

this should be an easy decision for her.

right?

her mind was enriched with memories of hayden and harvey.

and on top of it all, her brother was gone.

that was not a dream.

that was reality.

and neither of the guys knew about him.

meanwhile back at the house, harvey was escorted out.

"hayden a letter came for you," rush spoke. "it's from the university of pennsylvania."

"why would they be contacting me?" hayden questioned.

but then he realized. "oh.."

he snatched the envelope from rush's hands and ran to his room.

"i thought at the beginning of the year... before i met annie... that i would like to transfer schools." hayden mumbled softly.

he sighed, hoping he got rejected.

he had found better things in LA.

he found annie.

"please don't let this happen," he whispered to himself as he ripped the letter open.

...

annie's phone kept going off.

five missed calls from hayden

clenching onto her thin sweater and shivering, she called hayden.

it rang three times, and then he answered.

"hayden please pick me up," annie stuttered as she shivered.

...

she clung onto the soft white fabrics of her sweater as she waited.

his car finally pulled up, and she already felt like she was home.

he opened the car door and stopped in his tracks.

his face fell just looking at her.

she looked so broken.

without hesitation, he walked up to her and took her in his arms.

she cried, yet felt relieved that she could be vulnerable around him.

"i'm ready to tell you," she whispered into his chest.

"okay."
