Forever and Always. Second Edition to The We Are Family Series(Completed)

Part Twenty-Nine

      "Ally I'll be back on Friday." Ashton said to me as I help him pack his duffle bag. It was around 5 o'clock p.m. and Ashton was flying to Australia for his brother Harry's birthday.

     "But why do you have to go babe." I moaned as I dramatically and playfully collapsed on the bed. Hanging my head off the edge so i looked at Ashton upside down. He smiled and shook his head at me.

     

     "Hon it's for Harry's birthday. I promised him." He said as he zipped up his bag and plopped down beside me. Wrapping out fingers together and kissing my shoulder.

     "I know. But i'll miss you." I say sitting up and crawling closer to Ashton. I kneel next to him on the bed and twirl some of his hair between my fingers.

     "I'll miss you too. But it's only three days." He said smiling once again and sittin up. He presses his lips gently against mine.

     "I have to go, i'll see you soon Ally." He said as we broke apart. Grabbing his bag he shoots me one last smil before leaving. I hear the apartment door shut and i flop backwards onto my pillows.

     "Ugh." I let out a sigh and stared up at the ceiling. I let out a yawn. I was so bored and lonely. I rolled over and burried my face into my pillow and shut my eyes. Might as well get a nap. I toss and turn for about ten minutes until I get comfortable.

     I am just about to drift off to sleep when I hear my phone buzz. I shoot off my bed and search for it. Throwing clothes and pillows around I cannot find it. It then become a mission. It buzzes again. Now i take my search to the living room. I take the pillows off the couch and move magazenes and baby blankets. No.damn.phone. 

     It buzzes again. This time I look up and see it resting right on the kitchen table.

     "Really?" I say to no one. I frustratedly check it to see a text from Jenn. Too lazy to reply i lounge across the couch and call her. Putting the phone on speaker I rest it on my stomach and wait for her to answer,

     "Hey." her peppy voice bubbles out of my speaker.

     "Whats up." I say back fiddling with the ends of my hair.

     "Want us to bring over pizza for tonight?" She asked me. I sigh. I don't really want company tonight...

     "You guys go out and have fun Jenn,I'm tired I think I'll go to bed soon." I say back. She sighs.

     "You sure?" 

     "Yup! Give Luke and Cal my love okay?" I smile even though she can't see me.

     "Okay, Night Ally." She says. I hang up and lay my head on the pillows of the couch. I deep sigh. Then I did something that surprised even me. But it is what my heart told me to do.So, i did it.

     "Hey." I sent Michael a text. I don't even know why.

     "Hi." He responded. I didn't expect he would.

     "Come over?" I hesitated, but hit send anyway. He took awhile to respond. But he did.

     "Okay." I smiled at his response. Then I look around the living room. It is a mess from me turning the apartment upside down to search for my damn phone.

     I jump up off of the couch. Running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, I stack magazenes, right pillows, smooth baby blankets. Then I happen to catch a glance of myself in the mirror. 

     One word could describe my look... EW. 

    I run into my room and grab a clean shirt, not bothering to see what one it is. I slip some socks on and throw my hair back. Just as I am about to catch my breath, both babies start crying. 

     "Oh shit." I mummble, running to their room. I scoop one up in each arm and carry them to the lving room. Placing eacho one in their own little baby swing thingy that always calmed them down, they soon quieted. Letting out a deeo held in breath, I collapsed onto the couch and waited for Michael.
