Part Thirty

MICHAEL'S P.O.V.

     "Okay." I responded to Ally's text. She actually texted me and asked me to come over. I was so nervous. I hailed  New York city cab and told them Ally's adress. I smoothed out my crazy hair and made sure my plaid button down looked okay. I took about a million deep breaths.

     "You alright man?" The can driver asked me, looking concered. He must have thought I was hyperventilationg or something.

     "Oh, I'm great." I smile and give him the thumbs up. He just nods. I continue to inwardly freak out. Fuckin' finally we pull up to Ally's building. I pay the cab driver too much but I am in too much of a hurry to even care.

     "Keep the change!" I call over my shoulder as I run inside. Pushing the elevator button ten times, the ding finally happens and I get in. Not even looking over at the hot blonde girl in there with me I am too busy thinking about Ally. My Ally. I take about another million deep breaths as I am walking up to Ally's front door.

     "Phew. Here we go." I sigh and tap on the door. I hear shuffling feet and the door opens. She looks beautiful as usual. Her hair is tucked back in a pony tail. She smiles at me and opens the door wider for me to come in. I walk in, trying to be cool

     "Where is everyone else?" I ask hesitantly.

     "Um, Ash is flying to Austrailia for Harry's birthday, and Luke, Cal, and Jenn are out tonight. It's just me and the girls." She says, sitting on the couch. SHe tucks one knee under her like she has always done. She smiles at me again showing off her dimples. Of course making my knees go weak. I stumble to a chair on the far end of the room. She cocks her head at me.

     "Michael you don't need to sit so far away I don't have a deases." She laughs her infectious laugh. I probably blush.

      "Oh, yeah, right." I laugh awkwardly and sit on the couch near her. She looks at me and chuckles.

     "Mike, you can calm down, it's only me." She says laughing. How is she so comfortable right now? Here I am with the girl I love so much and all I can do is focus on not kissing her.

ALLY'S P.O.V.

    "Mike, you can calm down, it's only me." I say, laughing awkwardly. He probably thinks I'm such an idiot. He just nods. 

     "Can I hold one?" Michael asks me suddenly, motioning towards the girls.

     "Of course!" I say smiling. He gets up and take Haley carefully. I watch his every move. But he successfully takes her. I get up myself and hold Ellie. We sit together again on the couch.

     "We did good Ally." Michael says, breaking the silence again. My head shoots up.

      "What?" I ask. Knowing what he means already but I want to hear him say it.

     "These are beautiful girls you know.' He smiles jokingly.

     "Well we are beauutiful people.' I say smiling back at him. He nods and sticks his tongue out at me. I stick mine out at him.

      "Ally you are impossible." He mutters.

     "What was that?" I say sarcastically, titling my ear towards him.

     "You heard meeee." He says, dragging out the 'E'. I shake my head at him, tosseling my chestnut waves.

     "Whateves Clifford." I say, looking back down at Ellie who had fallen asleep.

     "Mikkey, look, she fell asleep!" I whisper. 

     "Haley fell asleep too!" He smiles.

     "Come on, help me put them to bed yeah?" I whisper again, standing up. He follows close on my heels and puts the babies to bed like a pro. I smile is he pulls the baby blankets up and strokes their foreheads. Kissing each of them like he did that night. I smile at him again.

      "Today was fun Mike." I say as we walk to the door.

     "Yeah, it was." He smiles. I surpise him by giving him a quick hug. He looks absolutly stunned. I am slightly stunned myself.

     "You can come over  tomorro if you like." I say, leaning on the door frame.

     "Sounds great to me Al." He says smiling and using my old nickname.

     "Okay, well good night." I smile back at him.

      "Night Al." He says, winking at me and shutting the door softly behind him. I giggle like a little school girl and head to bed myself.
