SURPRISE! EPILOGUE PART TWO

     I had just put my baby brother down for a nap and was sitting on the couch to read. My mom Ally is in the kitchen cooking dinner. I can hear her humming to herself happily. It made us all feel better now that my dad Michael is home from tour. We got back to the States a few months ago after surprising him at his concert.

     He is in the garage with Uncle Luke and Haley doing some song writing fir their next album. I have never been too good at song writing so Haley helps dad with the lyrics, and I help with the music.

    I glance up from the worn pages of my mom's old copy of The Fault In Our Stars. It's practically a classic now that its around seventeen years old. My tears stained the pages as my moms had done previously.

     I look up from the book at the photos on the mantle piece. There were many of our family. School pictures, candid ones, some of uncle Calum, Uncle Ash, and Uncle Luke... There were also a few from when my mom and dad lived in Australia. A couple of them when they were younger... And one of my mom, Uncle Luke, my grandfather, and Luke's mom in their wedding day. My mom looks absolutely miserable at best and so does Uncle Luke. There's also another one of the four, or should I say five of them. Luke's mom is pregnant in the picture. Its the day my dad, Uncle Luke, and there teat of the boys got back from ttheir first trip to London.

     I got up from the couch and took the picture into my hands and studied it closer. My grandfather had shot and hung himself I knew that. And Uncle Luke's mom had died of consumption after childbirth. Too bad none of them knew the hell they wwould be going through in a ffew days. I look back to Liz, Uncle's mom. I couldn't help but wonder about the baby. She was about a year older than Haley and me.

    My mom said that after Liz died and my grandpa wad taken away to a mental house, that the baby was taken away from her and Uncle Luke and given to its grandperants. My mom said that she never saw it again. She always feared up at the story. I mean it is pretty sad. I always wondered what happened to the baby. Baby Kara.

     Haley's p.o.v.

    "Hows your boyfriend been since we left Hal?" My dad asked able wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I loved spending these times with my dad and Luke. I always called him Luke and nnot Uncle Luke like Ellie. He was mmore like a friend to me than an actual uncle. I of course blushed when my dad asked about my boyfriend Ryan.

     "Hes good but Mom doesn't like him Dad." I whined. My dad loved Ryan ad much as my mom loved Gregg Ellie's boy friend. My dad and Luke nodded and both smirked at eachother.

     "What is it?" I begged to be let in on the secret. They only laughed.

     "Its just that Ryan is a lot like wwe were when your mom first met us." Luke explained. I nodded realizing what their laughter was over.

     "Sometimes I don't think mom is as much as a good girl as she makes out herself to be." I said looking back and forth between dad and Luke. This made them laugh harder than ever before.

     Ally's p.o.v.

     I felt Michael's arms encircle around my waist as I was chopping some veggies for dinner. I smiled and relaxed into his touch as I turned around to look into his ever sparkling green eyes.

    "So," He began with a sarcastic.grin on his face,"I hear you don't like Ryan?" He asks me. I automatically roll my eyes.

    "Hes just like me why wouldn't you like him for our Haley?" He mumbles against my neck and his stubble tickles me. I laugh which makes him stop nibbling at my skin and look at me.
