a new spinoff show "girl group" (based off the show "boy band") has been created and in the works. the contestants on boyband play a large role in the girls lives. read to find out what happens!
(giuliana's pov) after spending much needed time with my mom, i have to get ready to go to the meeting. i only have time for an outfit change since i have fifteen minutes until i have to be there.

i basically just changed from pajamas to pajamas, but atleast these are clean ones. after i change my mom and i run downstairs to see who is the fastest. we almost tie, but she beats my by a second.
when we get into the room, i find ellie and sit next to her. once everyone is here and seated, the same people as the last meeting go infront to present. "good evening ladies, we are now down to the top 50! congratulations to everyone! now this only gets tougher. tonight, we will discuss information needed for upcoming events taking place. as we told you a couple of days ago, tonight we will be having a suprise that will help us determine the top 30. tomorrow, we will be holding i guess group auditions you can call them. thirty minutes before we want you to come audition, we will call you and you will be singing with four other girls. you guys decide the song and the harmonies and all other things. we want to see how quickly you can put something together. while you are at the "group audition" we may ask you to sing something solo just to get a better idea of your voice. so please keep your schedule free tomorrow until 2pm, auditions should be done by then. please wake up by 9:30 because we will start calling by 10 am. we also have a change in plans, since we will have the top 30 figured out by friday evening, we figure we should just let you guys find out tomorrow. we will give you a call between 8pm and 10pm and let you know if you've made it or not. joel would you like to continue?" the lady says after finishing her speech. "sure. so next we will discuss the filming. all episodes will be live. we will have a total of 11 episodes. the episodes will basically follow the same format as boy band. the first episode will be solo auditions, and finding out who will be in the top 18. we will also find out the three groups. the next three episodes will be dedicated to one group each week. each week, someone from each group will be going home. the two weeks after that, new groups will be formed each week and one girl will be going home. america will vote during the commercial break. the two weeks after that, two girls will be going home. the week after that, one girl will go home and the week after that will be top 8 and everyone will be performing solos. then for twenty four hours everyone will vote. the last week, we will found out the final group and they will perform the new single. now about the final group, there will be five of you. you will be signed to hollywood records and you will release a single within the first week. to be in the final group, you don't just need vocals. even though it is a vital part, you still need to have stage presence, passion, and a strong bond with the other members. that will be discussed when closer to the time. now onto rehearsals. at the beginning of each week, you will be given a schedule. as of right now, you will be receiving them on tuesday since the show will air monday. you will have rehearsals with tim, nappytabs, adam blackstone, and a couple more people." joel says and paused to regain his thoughts. "and now onto the fun part. so as you know, we have a suprise for you guys. you know the boys from boy band?" he asks. oh my god are they coming? well everyone cheers. "have you spoken to them?" he asks. i wait to see what everyone else says. since everyone keeps quiet, i decide to keep everything to myself. "so... we are bringing in the top 15 tonight. they just had their live show so they may be a little tired so please be respectful. we are going to see how you can interact with them as if you were performing on stage because at some point in this competition, we will have dancers with you on stage. the boys should be here any minute." he says waiting. i'm so excited now! i wonder who got eliminated, they're all probably going to be sad. to knock me out of my thoughts, i hear screams fill the room. i turn around and i see the boys walking in. i make eye contact with michael and wave to him. "hi guys!" drew says smiling. "boys, we are going to pair you up with either three or four girls each. we have two dancers that will demonstrate what you have to do. we will also ask some partners to sing together if we feel something. sound good?" the lady, jane, says and we all cheer. "okay first up jhype and jenn, devin and jaymee, cam and darla, marcus and kaylee and drew and demi" oh my god kaylee must be so happy, marcus is her favorite! i don't think she's spoken too much to him yet, maybe just a small conversation if anything. the session goes on group and after group and i'm getting a little bored not gonna lie. the last group gets announced. "jhype and nicolette, chance and erika, drew and emily, michael and giuliana and marcus and maria" thank god im with michael and nic is with jay. i walk over and hug him and ask him how the show went. "come to my room after and i'll fill you in" he says and i agree.
we get shown the dance twice, which is three eight counts long, and do it one by one. when michael and i finish, i smile so hard and hug him. "yo we killed it!" he said smiling, looking at me in the eyes. i literally almost tell him then and there how i feel. how he's gorgeous, charming, talented, like a dream. but i hold myself back. hopefully a day will come where i can work up the courage to do that. i'm too scare of being rejected. "okay wow guys that was great! michael and giuliana please come forward. you guys were outstanding! would you mind singing a duet?" one of the men ask. "uh yeah no problem" i say as i feel my face heating up. i look up to see nicolette getting all giddy.i look to my left slightly and see michael beet red. "what should we sing?" michael asks. "i know what you did last summer?" i ask. "by shawn mendes and camila cabello? yeah sure lets try it" he says.
"wow guys, that was amazing! you two seem to really connect" the lady says as we finish the song and hug each other. we thank her and sit down.
once it's over, michael takes me up to his room with the rest of the boys. we decide to just watch movies and lay down. michael isn't talking much and he seems really upset every time i get a glimpse of him. "hey are you okay?" i ask sincerely. "its the show. miles is going home" he says like he's on the verge of tears. "oh my god michael" i say holding him tight in my arms. "he's my bestfriend, besides jay. i'm gonna miss him so freaking much." once he says that i sit up and come up with an idea. "come on get up. if i watch you cry anymore i'm gonna start crying and i'm an ugly crier so i don't think you wanna see that." i say standing up as i grab his hand. "we're knocking on everyone's door and we are gonna do something fun. we can't be moping on his last day we have to enjoy it." i say. "you're brilliant. thank you." he says hugging me.
