I love you more. *A Zalfie Fanfic*

It needed to be done.

I could see the morning sunlight through my eyelids. I opened my eyes and looked around the ever so familiar room. I've stayed here so many times while I was visiting my favourite Chummy.

I looked down and saw Alfie. A smile spread across my face. His head was laying on my chest and his arms were around my waist. I had my hands on his bicep and under his head. I loved him with all my heart.

I slowly moved my right arm from underneath his head and grabbed my phone. It was half 9 and I had some texts and missed calls. One text was from Louise and she asked if I was awake. I answered and said "yes." As soon as I pressed send I heard her feet on the stairs.

She swung open the door and saw that Alfie was still asleep. She cocked her head to one side and mouthed an "Awww."

I smiled widely. "One second." I whispered to her.

I signaled Louise over to the side of the bed. I handed her my phone. I slowly picked up Alfie's arm and slid out of his grasp. I put my feet on the cold hardwood floor and stood up. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms out. Lou handed my back my phone. And smiled at me.

"I'll be down in a minute."

"Okay."

She gave me a quick hug and kiss on the cheek and left the room.

I walked into the bathroom and peeled of my clothes. I stepped into a nice warm shower and began to wash my hair. After I washed my body and shaved I stepped out. I wrapped and towel around my body and flipped my hair up side down. I applied product and then wrapped my hair in a towel. I walked over to the mirror and applied moisturizer and started brushing my teeth.

After I was done I put on a bra and pulled on a pair of underwear. I slipped on a pair of shorts and a white t-shirt.

I slowly turned the door knob and I tiptoed into the bedroom. Alfie was still fast asleep I could hear him breathing. As I was about to walk out the door to go down stairs I heard a raspy voice.

"I'll be down soon."

I walked over to him, put my hands on his cheeks, and kissed him.

"Faker."

I smiled and walked out the door and started down the stairs.

As soon as my feet hit the landing I heard a small little voice shouting my name.

"Zoe. Zoe chummy!"

Darcy came bounding towards me as fast as her little legs could carry her. I kneeled down and scooped her up into my arms, showering her with kisses.

"Aww I missed you Darcy."

I carried her into the kitchen where I found Matt and Louise conversing. Matt saw me and smiled. He walked over and gave me a big hug.

"Hey Zo."

"Hi Matt." I smiled up at him.

"Matt can you and Darcy go to Superdrug or something so I can talk to Zoe?"

"Sure." Matt took Darcy from my arms and left the house.

"You didn't have to send them away."

"Well we need privacy. So tell me everything."

I told Louise about what Nikolai did and when I looked up she was crying. I walked over to her.

"What's wrong Chummy?"

"I can't believe he would treat you like that. You of all people. I'm just so upset that he would treat my Zoe that way."

I stood on my tiptoes and wrapped my arms around Louise.

"Chummy I'm fine. I promise. I have Alfie now."

She pulled away from me a smile spreading across her face.

"Speaking of tell me about him. He is absolutely adorable."

"Oh my god Louise he's so amazing. He so nice and caring and loving. He is funny and treats me the way I feel like I should be treated. He makes me feel so safe."

"I'm so happy for you chummy." She gave me the biggest hug.

We both pulled away and Louise started talking again.

"You guys make an adorable couple. Seriously."

"Aww thanks Louise!"

I walked over to the fridge and pulled out the milk and then walked over and grabbed a box of Lucky Charms. Louise knew me so well because she always had a box at her house.

I got down a bowl and as I was pouring some cereal in I felt two arms wrap around my waist and a pair of lips kissed my neck.

"Good morning sleepy head." I said to him with a smile.

"Good morning baby." He answered snuggling his head into my neck.

"Do you want a bowl?"

He rested his chin on my shoulder and looked at my milk less bowl of lucky charms.

"Sure!"

He kissed me on the cheek and pulled away from my body. Taking the warmth with him. As I was pouring him a bowl of Lucky Charms I heard him talking to Louise.

"Good Morning Louise."

"Good Morning Alfred."

They started laughing and I walked over and sat the bowl down in front of him.

"Thanks Little One!"

"You're welcome sweetie." I kissed him on the back of his head and rubbed his shoulder.

He dove into his breakfast. I looked at him and smiled. I sat next to him on the bench seat and looked at Louise.

"Oh I already ate." Louise knew I would feel bad for eating in front of her.

I smiled and started eating my own breakfast. I was happy sitting next to my boyfriend and talking to my best friend. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

All of the sudden I heard my phone buzzing and when I looked down I saw it was from Nikolai.

Alfie looked up and I felt his hand on my thigh.

"It's okay." he said to me.

I reached over and pressed "ignore." Louise and Alfie both smiled at me.

"What? It needed to be done."
