September 18th

"You're either gonna tell me what's going on with you and Jimin, or I swear I will force it out of you!" Taehyung's voice was filled with anger.

The expression on Jungkook's face remained blank, as if no one was speaking to him.

"Hyung I..." Jungkook choked on his own words. He didn't know the answer, the proper answer at least.

"I don't know, we... we just got so occupied with Namjoon hyung's health, that we," the words were coming out like bullets and Jungkook couldn't control himself, "... that I forgot about Jimin."
Despite the straight face, guilt still hadn't left his eyes.

Taehyung laughed, shaking his head at Jungkook's words.
"Forgot? How do you forget someone Jungkook? Especially Jimin," Taehyung yelled, with no intention to scare the younger, but to put his mind on the right path, "your boyfriend."

Complete numbness filled Jungkook's insides and the air in his lungs got thicker, not allowing him to breathe or speak. Or so he wanted to believe.

The deafening silence was surely uncomfortable for both Taehyung and Jungkook.
Between them, there wasn't such thing as silence or awkwardness, but today was different, in many aspects.

Taehyung squeezed his hands together, so tight, it made his knuckles turn a light shade of yellow.
He was mad at Jungkook for acting like this, after so many good times with Jimin.
As much as Taehyung's memories go back, the relationship between Jimin and the younger had never been a dysfunctional nor a skinny one.
They always understood each other and when they argued; or for that matter if they argued, the bitterness would eventually go away after a day or two, but Taehyung was scared, because it's been two and a half weeks and Jimin hasn't said a word to Jungkook.
The unbelievable tension between the couple made the other friends feel as if they were bothering them, or  they were being a burden.

"I don't like this any more than you do hyung," the words that had been gulped many times, finally left Jungkook's lips with a slight shake to them.
"Then why in the world are you acting this way?" Taehyung asked almost immediately.

"I'm afraid hyung."

Taehyung's eyes widened, "afraid of what Jungkookie?"

"I'm afraid I'll get tired of him," Jungkook was never the person to cry for simple things, but he couldn't hold back the tears anymore, "I'm afraid I'll stop loving him hyung."

Taehyung stood up, swinging his hand across Jungkook's face.

The younger hissed in pain, as more tears left his heavy eyes, "w-what was that for?!"

"For saying stupid shit like that," the elder yelled, "how can you even think about something like that, much less say it out loud!"

Taehyung was right and Jungkook knew that, but he didn't stop; hell, he couldn't stop thinking about it.
For the past two weeks, that's all Jungkook's been thinking and dreaming about.
As if there was this voice in the back of his mind telling him to let go of Jimin, as if he can't love him properly, or he'll stop loving him eventually.

"He loves you and he's longing for your touch and your love Jungkook," Taehyung calmed down after a few minutes, "do you know what he's been telling me since you stopped loving him?"

"-I didn't stop loving him!" Jungkook's voice was shaky and almost out of breath, "I never stopped loving him..."

"That's what you think, but it's not what Jimin thinks," the elder said.

Silence took over and Jungkook was once again in his own little world in his mind.
Away from the problems he has caused and away from the guilt he felt.
