"I'm sorry, but did you just ask if I knew P–Park Jimin?" Jungkook choked on his own words.

The other male looked around awkwardly, thinking about walking away and asking someone else, "yes, I did actually."

Jungkook flashed a fake smile and unnecessarily wiped his lips, a slight scoff coming out.
"I do know him, we are," the younger took a sharp breath, his eyes linked to the other male, "you could say somewhat close."

Jongin's smile appeared once again, irritating the hell out of Jungkook, as he began speaking, "even better. I work at the Seoul Hospital and we've been getting a few emails from an anonymous person, telling us to take Jimin in for a full health check."

"Not sure why," Jongin raises his eyebrows, "but Mr. Park hasn't been answering our calls or emails, so they sent me to ask around and see if anyone knows where he lives."

Something in Jungkook's chest tightened as his eyes grew large, "w–why would he need a check up? He's perfectly fine...?" Jungkook's last words sounded more like a question than a statement.

"It is our job to make sure the people of Seoul are healthy and okay, therefore I do have to take him in, regardless if he's healthy or not," Jongin made sure to speaking slowly and clearly, so the younger male could understand him.

Jungkook looked to the ground, unsure of what to respond to Jongin, who did in fact seem to know what he was talking about.

"Either way, since you said you two are friends, you wouldn't mind me asking a few questions about him, while we walk to his house," Jongin said, "right?"

"Go ahead," Jungkook motioned his arm forward in approval.

The walk to Jimin's house, seemed to take only a few minutes, since Jungkook was too busy being distracted by the attack of questions Jongin had thrown at him.

"Wait," Jungkook stopped walking, "are you asking me if Jimin has had any health problems before?"

"Yes, I am," Jongin furrowed his eyebrows, confused as to why was Jungkook so surprised at his questions.

"No, of course not," Jungkook said, a fake smile plastered on his pale complexion, "at least I don't think he has."

Jongin nodded and the two continued walking, reaching Jimin's house in no time.

Jungkook, for some reason, started sweating awfully quickly and his clothes seemed tighter on him than usual. As they reached the lifeless house, that Jungkook once considered his home, the younger couldn't help but see how trashed and ruined the place looked.

The once freshly cut grass, was now losing its color and has faded away into a dark yellow tone, that somehow resembled the mood Jungkook was in.

The beautiful plants and flowers that surrounded the small yard, were now completely gone to the point where you couldn't even guess they were there in the first place. The house in total looked completely sad and devastated, but little did the people on the outside know that, that exact feeling the house was giving, was also how Jimin looked and felt on both the outside and the inside.

"Is he home?" Jongin suddenly asked before walking towards the front door.

Jungkook didn't know, because he hasn't talked to him in a while.
He didn't know anything about Jimin anymore. Not even what he wore, or what he ate that day. Absolutely nothing.

"I suppose," Jungkook mumbled but clear enough for Jongin to hear him.
