September 24th
11:30pmA knock on the front door woke Jimin up from his tiring sleep.
"Thank god." He thought.
The nap wasn't helping his already tired body nor his exhausted brain.
He had been drinking and throwing up the awfully tasting alcohol since the day before and it twisted Jimin's stomach at the thought of food.
He was tired and it was noticeable, both physically and mentally. He stumbled towards the door and unlocked it, the other person quickly entering.
"What-"
"It's raining god dammit, couldn't you let me in a little quicker?" Jimin lifted his head, his heavy eyes meeting Jungkook's wet ones.
"They're probably from the rain." Jimin thought.
He snapped back to reality when he realized who he let it.
He forgot all about being tired and exhausted and quickly grabbed Jungkook's wrist, turning him around, before the younger had the chance to walk to the living room.
"What the hell are you doing here?!"
Jungkook didn't want to show any type of emotion, he just stood there, head facing down as if he was trying to hide the guilt that was growing in him.
"We need to talk," he whispered the words carefully.
Jimin scoffed, "we have nothing to talk about Jungkook, everything that needed to be said, has been said," he paused, "and done."Jungkook released himself from Jimin's grip and faced the elder, "we need to talk about our relationship Jimin."
The elder felt like throwing up once again, but this time, the cause were Jungkook's words.
"Oh," Jimin sighed, unable to process what was happening.
Jungkook wasn't going to actually say it, was he?"Hyung, I need some time," Jungkook let the words out, "some space, from all of this."
Jimin fought the tears back, "3 weeks weren't enough for you?"
A bitter smile grew on Jimin's face, as the words he used couldn't sound any harsher to Jungkook."It's not like tha-"
Jimin interrupted, "oh, but it is."Intense awkwardness and deafening silence grew large in the dimmed hallway before Jimin decided to speak again, "how selfish and fucking heartless can you become Jungkook? How long are you going to pretend that you need space, instead of just telling me that you need space from me, that you need to get away from me? You threw this on top of all of my other problems and the fact that I might lose my father doesn't matter to you at all. You just needed to get that one thing off of your chest and put it on top of this pile of shit I call my thoughts and worries!"
"Plea-"
"I didn't fucking finish so don't fucking interrupt me!" Jimin was screaming at this point and it didn't matter if anyone heard them at that moment, "is this how all of this ends? Is this how our love and friendship, that we had for years, ends? Tell me Jungkook, why are you doing this to me? Why are you making me think that I'm the cause to all of these problems, that it's my fault my dad has cancer and it's my fault our relationship's falling apart?"
Tears streamed down Jimin's face as well as Jungkook's.
He was speechless and couldn't speak a word to tell Jimin that he wanted to fix all of this, but he needed time for that. The younger stepped back and held the door knob, "I'm sorry Hyung."
Jimin wasn't having none of it, "I love y-"
Before Jungkook could finish his sentence, Jimin had slammed the door and locked it.He finally burst out crying and sat on the floor, held his knees tightly as he buried his face in the palms of his hands.
And little did he know, Jungkook did the same, but instead of the warm hallway, he was outside, crying with the cold air and heavy clouds.
