Finally, summer again! It's feels like it's been a longer wait than normal for it to come around. I've moved twice since last summer and hated both of them, with a passion. The houses were so grungy and small and the area was just, well honestly, chavy. Not good. I only made two friends and I'm pretty sure we won't keep in touch.

My names Lucie. Everyone calls me Lou though, I like that more. I have blue eyes and curly dark blonde hair. I'm not skinny, and not particularly pretty. My friends say I am but I think they are just being nice. I'm 16 years old and turn 17 in August.

All of my life I have been the new girl, the mysterious one that no one knows much about. My parents have very demanding jobs that cause us to move around the country at least once a year, sometimes more. I have moved 21 times so far. I don't mind the moving. I get to see so many knew places, experience new things, meet knew people, and I quite like car journeys.. Not to sure why.. It's strange I know:). But I hate the change. The new schools, new rules, new rumours, new people to watch out for. And then the leaving. I have met some really lovely people and have had to leave them all behind. Sometimes I don't even know why I try to make friends. Eventually I will be gone, and then I'll be forgotten. Grace Miller was the best friend I ever made, and the only one I kept in touch with.

She is unbelievably gorgeous. Average height, dark brown long straight hair, bright but dark green eyes and has the perfect figure. She is one of those girls who could eat a five horses everyday and remain a twig. I envy this. Urgh. She's the kindest person I know, but also the shyest(not when you get to know her though).
I met grace when I was 9, we lived next door to each other. Our parents were great friends and so were we. We lived there for the longest amount of time, only 2 years. Now we have an arrangement that I come I stay with the millers every summer. Just me, not my parents. I understand why they don't like coming here, too many bad memories.
Summers there are amazing:)

I finish packing my bags and drag them downstairs to meet my parents in the car. Our current house isn't anything special, not too big not too small, just an average old fashioned house. It's ok I guess.
"All packed hunny?" Mum sweetly questions me with a calm loving smile on her face. I loved my mum. I know she wanted the best for me, even if it wasn't what I wanted, but I respected this about her.
"Urhmm I think so" I replied while just checking I had all of my bags.
"Ok good. Let's go then! Your father is waiting in the car" she took one of my bags and lead the way to the car locking the door behind us. We chucked my bags in the boot of our big black range rover and then got in and belted up.
"Okayyy, train station here we come!" Dad said happily. I smiled at him, let out a small laugh and then turned to look out of my window. I could not wait.

Dad parked into the first spot he saw and then jumped out of the car to open the door for my mum. He always did this, I found it really sweet:). They both helped me with my bags and handed me some money and my train ticket. We walked to the platform in silence and then dad began to speak.
"Now Lucie, remember your manners, stay sensible, and stay safe. Ring me if you have any problems. Oh and keep clear of strangers..." He pulled me into a tight hug and whispered,
"I love you Lou"
"Love you too dad. And don't worry, I'll be fine. Promise" we separated and then before I knew it mum was hugging me.
"Ooh I will miss you!"
"Haha I'll miss you too mum!"
"You better young lady!" She teased. She let me go and I could see her eyes beginning to water.
"One last thing, no parties, no alcohol, no drugs, and no boys." Dad snapped.
"I know dad! It's the same every year!"
"Good" the train began to make it's way down the platform and finally stopped.

I picked up my bags, said goodbye to my parents and hopped on the train. I sat in four seater, taking up two of the seats and some of the floor with my bags. Out of the window I could see my parents waving at me. My dad was smiling, and my mum almost in tears. I waved back as the train began to slowly start moving, and before I knew it they were out of sight. I laid back on my seat and sighed with relief. Only 4 hours till Bournemouth! I pulled my iPhone and headphones from from my handbag and put them on. I would have got them out sooner but my parents disapprove of music and they would have taken them off me. I put on some Arctic Monkeys and text Grace.

'On my way!;) Lx' she replied so quickly it made me jump.

'Ooh! So excited! I'll start making your room up:) Gx'

Grace had the most amazing house. It was big enough to fit 2 families in, and had a missive garden. I even had my own room there! They use it as a spare when I'm not there but it is known as Lou's Room. I don't reply to her text, and then close my eyes.
