Lou's p o v
The fireworks were beautiful. I must have got some great photos. It was now 10pm so I had 1 hour until I had to meet Grace. James was still gazing at the sky, smiling.
"Wow" he said. "They were amazing."
"I know!" He smiled at me, then stood up and began to wipe the sand off of his trousers. He offered me a hand up and I took it.
He held onto my a little longer after I was standing. I began to feel butterflies in my stomach.
"When do you have to meet your friend" james asked me.
"11." He checked the time on his phone.
"Ok so I have 40 minutes to spend with you then! Are you hungry?"
"Mmm yeah I am." I nodded and smiled. He wanted to spend more time with me:)
"Wanna grab a burger?"
"I would love to grab a burger." He grinned and turned to the direction of the burger van.
There were so many people around, I didn't want to loose him in the crowd, but I felt his arm gently link in with mine. His arms were so muscly and strong. He caught me looking at him, I didn't realise I was staring. He pulled this adorable half smile.
"Is there something on my face?" He said.
"Oh erm no.." I said awkwardly then looked forward to where we were walking. I started to bite my lip, that's a really bad habit of mine. I always seem to be doing it. He laughed at me.
"Is it just my ugly face!" He said jokily. His face was far from ugly, but I didn't want to say anything. I don't want to come on too strong. I just laughed at him and shook my head.
"You know it's gonna take us forever to get through this crowd..." I said to him.
"Yeah your right.." James replied sounding like he was trying to think of a quicker way out.
"You know what would make it faster?" I said to him with a cheeky grin.
"Haha what?" I squeezed his arm tightly with mine and began to run with him through the gaps in the crowd. It was so hard to avoid the people but so funny at the same time. He was a really fast runner! We were off the beach and out of the crowd in no time. We stopped, regained our breath and started to laugh together.
"Your right! That was faster!" He said between laughs.
He ordered 2 cheeseburgers and they were gone within seconds. We didn't realise how hungry we were! I thanked him and slowly we began walking to the pier where I would meet Gracie.
"You don't have to walk with me if you don't want to." I said to him. He looked deep into my eyes,
"I want to." I melted a little inside.
James's p o v
We drew closer to the pier and I could see a figure waving over at us. That must be her friend. Yeah it was, Lou waved back.
"There's Grace" she said while waving. I didn't want tonight to end, it had been pretty perfect.
"Thankyou so so much for tonight James. It's been really great, I'm so happy I met you." She looked so gorgeous. I could see her properly now, we were standing under some lamp posts. She had dark blonde hair, with prefect loose curls and her eyes were breathtaking. They were mixtures of different shades of blue. I would never get bored of looking at them.
"I'm really happy I met you too. Really happy. Do you errm.. Could we see each other again?" I hope she would say yes.
"Of corse! Do you want my-" she was interrupted by someone screaming her name. It was her friend.
"Shoot I have to go. Again thanks for tonight!" She began to walk off then turned to face me and called
"I'll see you around James, James McVey." Then she was swallowed in the sea of people before I had the chance to reply.
I smiled to myself. I had met the most amazing girl tonight:) I can't wait to see her again.
I started to wonder back to my car, hoping to find brad there. I text him again.
Shit.
I didn't get her number.
How the hell am I going to find her again?
