Chapter 16- Gym Comp.

Today is the day! Up and ready at 7:30 for Graces big competition. The things I do for her. I would kill for a coffee right now.

Grace has her special leotard on with her shorts and jumper and her brown hair in a tight doughnut bun. She has a minimal amount of make up on, but still looks so pretty. She's prancing and singing around my room as we wait for will to arrive. I can't help but laugh at her, she's so excited!

I French braided my hair into a side plait, which is very messy due to my layered curly hair, and threw on my over shirt and favourite necklace. I was wearing a baggy sleeveless, low cut black top with denim shorts and my doc marten boots. And now my see through cream over shirt and necklace. I looked very indie today. Oh and as my legs are blindingly pale, I rolled on some tan tights.

"Is james still coming?" Grace asked after finishing the song she was singing.

"I think so, I'll text him." I replied.

"You really like him don't you?" She questioned, probably already knowing the answer. My cheeks flashed a tomato red.

"Well that answers that one!" She laughs at me.

"How can you tell?" I say sarcastically and then hide my face in my hands.

"Awwh haha, it's so cute Lou! I've never seen you ever act like this around a guy. And the way he is around you! Oh my god. You should have seen how adorable you two were together at dinner the other night. Even my dad ships you two." I opened my mouth to reply but as I did there was a knock at the door. That would be Will.

Quickly I text James and then went downstairs to say hey to Will.

'Hey😊 you still up for today?xx'

A few moments later he replied.

'Oh yeeah! Be there at 8 right?xx'

'Good!:)) and yeah, I'll wait for you at the entrance xx'

'Thanks:) I'll be there with my team Grace banner! and maybe a little something for you.. If you're lucky;)xx'

Something for me? He got me something! Why would he do that? Awh:) ... To be honest at the moment, I'm really hoping it's red bull. I shoved my phone back into my pocket and entered the kitchen.

"Hey will, how are ya?" I said cheerfully. He looked at me grinning and pulled me into a tight hug. That was unexpected...

"I'm great thanks." He replied releasing me.

"Someone's happy!" I said a little startled.

"Just excited for Grace's big day!" He said putting his arm around her, his hand practically grabbing her arse. Will was definitely a bit full on...

Steve emerged, car keys in hand and we all made our way into the car. Steve and Kate were sat in the front, and will, Grace and me in the back. Will sat in the middle and started to whisper things in graces ear which made her explode with giggles.

Ugh get a room.

Kate and Steve were lost in their own conversation so I was awkwardly third wheeling.

I pulled my phone from my pocket and started typing a message to james.

'Cannot tell you how happy I am that you're coming today! Grace and will are practically on top of each other in the car... Help!xx'

I love the fact that james was always fast at replying. Shows that he actually wants to talk to me...

'Hahaha! Nothing I can do there! Sorry you're on your own;)xx'
