Lou's p o v
I woke up at half 10 this morning. I have had the best sleep:). When I went down for breakfast, Grace had already gone for practice. I made some toast, showered, put my makeup on and dried my hair. I decided today to do some photography. I hadn't visited my favourites parts of this place yet so today was the day:). Bournemouth was absolutely beautiful. There isn't a place you could go here that isn't lovely.
I put on my ripped jeans, a plain baggy blue top and my grey Hollister hoodie. Proper nice lazy clothes. My favourites:). I threw my hair in a messy bun, my layers falling out almost straight away causing it to look even more messy, and then pulled on my black work out, pascal doc martens. I slung my bag on my shoulder and left the house.
I listened to my music as I walked, looking around carefully for a photo opportunity. The beach was completely empty today which was probably because it wasn't as hot as usual, but good for me as there was nobody around to get in the way. The sun was perfectly positioned, it shone across the calm water creating an elegant shadow. Then the ripples in the water distorted the shadow. It was beautiful. I could stare at it all day. I've missed being here so much.
I took pictures of the rocks, shells, the pier, the beach, the sea, everything. I span my camera around, facing away from the sea, and through the lens, I spotted a familiar face. A smile grew on my face and my heart began to flutter. I let out a deep breath and pulled down my camera to look at him properly.
James's p o v (little bit earlier)
"James sweetie? Could you pop down to the shop to get me some eggs and milk? I'll give you the money." My mum poked her head round my door and asked, but she already knew the answer.
"Yeah alright. Just milk and eggs?" I said confirming with her.
"Yes please, here's a fiver. Thanks!" She flashed me a smile and left my room with the money on my dresser. I closed my laptop and put on some shoes. It was a bit chilly out so I grabbed a jacket, the money and my phone and left.
The walk into town took only seven or eight minutes, I got to the shop bought the eggs and milk and then got ready to walk home. I had no plans for today, I'll probably just end up on twitter. Although I wanted to text Lou and ask if she wanted to hang out, I don't want to be too pushy. I like how things are going with her. I love being around her, she makes everything so positive, I laugh with her so much and I've only known her about a week! I've never become so close to someone so quickly. I just want to be with her all the time, maybe one day we could be more than friends... I don't know. I don't know if she feels the same way. I almost kissed her yesterday, but tris ruined it. Good going tris!
I walked from the shop with the plastic carrier bag in my hand. I looked out across the beach, it was really empty for some reason, there was only one person on it. I looked closer at the figure. It was a teenage girl. She had headphones on. Blonde hair. And was holding a camera.
She turned with her camera to take pictures of the town and houses, and that's when she saw me too. She dropped the camera from her face, and just stood there, looking at me. She was too far away for me to see her facial expressions, but I'm guessing she's smiling. She's always smiling:). I pulled out my phone and dialled a number.
"Hey Lou."
Lou's p o v
James McVey. 3 days in a row! Someone up there wanted us to see each other again!;). My phone started to ring in my pocket. I yanked my headphones off and answered it.
"Hey Lou." Said the sweet, crisp voice on the other end.
"I'm beginning to think your stalking me!" I said to him.
"Nah, if I was i'd be much more secretive."
"Oh.. Um..Should I be scared?"
"Hmmm," he answered and I laughed.
"Should have guessed you'd be down here taking pictures really."
"Well it is a fab day for it." I replied.
"It is, bit cold though."
"Remember when you said you knew some great spots for pictures?" I asked, hinting that he should show with me.
"Oh yeah, I'll show you, if you want me around..." I nodded but I don't know if he saw it, I am still on the beach and he's by the shop.
"Let me just walk this home for my mum, meet back here in about 20 minutes?"
"Yeah, sounds good."
"Great, see you in a bit." I ended the call and continued with my music and pictures.
When James met me back at the beach, we walked and talked for hours. He took me to parts of Bournemouth that I hadn't seen for years. I remember exploring around these places when I was a kid, it hadn't changed one bit.
"Now this, this is one of my ultimate favourite places here!" James said facing me while walking backwards. Before me was the most magical looking forest I had ever set eyes on. It completely doesn't look real.
"Woah..." I gasped while starring at the stunning view in front of me. My mouth was open so wide i was catching flies. James walked over to me, breaking me from my trance and took my hand in his.
"I know." He whispered into my ear and then pulled me into the forest.
He walked me home at around 6 and my cheeks were beginning to ache from smiling for so long. We hadn't stopped talking either, there wasn't a moment of silence. He now probably knows me better than I know myself.
Just as I was about to knock on the door, it opened.
"Hey Lou, is this the James you've been talking about" Grace said as soon as she opened the door. She sounded so mischievous, what was she up to?.. My face flashed a shade of red. Great! Now he knows I've been talking about him.
"Yes," I scowled at Grace. "This is James, James this is Grace." I introduced them. They exchanged smiles and nice to meet yous.
"You should stay for dinner, we have plenty and your more than welcome!" Grace said to James, completely blanking me.
"Wait, what.." I murmured quietly to Grace.
"Dinner would be great, thankyou!" James happily said to Grace.
"Are you sure? I mean, you don't have to stay if you-" I started to say before Grace pushed me too the side, cutting me off, and welcoming James into the house. She winked at me and sat us down at the table.
It wasn't that I didn't want James to come over for dinner, but I knew they were all going to embarrass me and tease me in front of him. Especially Steve. They knew I really liked him because of how much I talk about him, and we had been out together everyday this week.
This dinner was going to be a long one.
