Lou's p o v

I looked in the mirror just to double check my appearance. I'm wearing light blue jeans, and one of Graces tops. It's really pretty, low cut and white and lacy. I picked up my plaid red and black shirt, my phone and my bag and wondered down stairs. Grace wasn't home yet, and neither were her parents. I think Kate said they're aiming to be back her for 6, but I have no clue where Grace is... I left a note on the said reading 'gone to james', be back later:)', then I left the house and locked the door.
I'm actually getting really nervous about meeting james' band members... They are his best friends, what If they don't like me... What if they think I'm crazy... What if james leaves me because they don't like me and think I'm crazy...
I slowed my pace, I'm not rushing to get there now. I'll just have to play it cool... I could now see james' house. It was three doors away. I'm really not the best at socialising. I could feel the palms of my hands moisten with nerves, I wiped them against my trousers.

2 doors to go.

I tucked my hair behind my ear and straightened my body.

1 door.

I took a deep breath and walked to his door, rang the bell and waited. I swear, if I wasn't forcing myself to stand straight then I would be shaking uncontrollably.

The door swung open, and I was greeted by James. Is it possible that he might have gotten even more good looking within the past few hours?
"Hey," he grinned. "Come in." He put his hand on my back and ushered me inside.
"Do you want me to take you bag?" He offered.
"Yes please." I pulled my bag off my shoulder and handed it too him. He grasped my hand when I did, and pulled me into a unexpected kiss.
"What was that for?" I whispered, smirking. I rested my hand on his chest.
"I just missed you."
"I missed you too."
"Are you ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be.." I mumbled.
"Hey," he stroked my hair. "Don't be nervous, they'll love you. I'm sure." With my hand in his, he led me outside.
There they were. They were oblivious that I was here at the moment. They were sitting at a table in james' garden, chatting.
"Guys!" James called as we walked closer to them. "This is Lou." They turned round and our eyes met.
One had gorgeous, brown curly hair which he kept from his face with a bandana. He had brown eyes, and a really nice skin tone. And the other and a brilliant blonde quiff, blue eyes, and was pale as a sheet. Totally different, but they both looked really friendly.
"Heyya." I said nervously, clinging onto James' hand. They stood up, both were smiling.
"Hiya! I'm brad, I've heard loads about you." He shook my free hand and winked at james. I laughed a little.
"HEEEY!" The blonde one shouted, he grabbed me into a hug, separating me from james. I hugged him back, and giggled.
"Hey there!"
"Okay that's enough Tris." James said as he pulled him off of me.
"Jealous much." Tris pouted.
"You're the one who should be jealous." James said as he put his arm around me. Awh. "I'm gonna get some drinks, Tris, come help?"
"Sure." They walked off into the house together leaving me with Brad.
"Come sit." He said to me. I sat opposite him at the table. "How are you?" He started conversation.
"G..good thanks, you?" Shit. I'm so awkward..
"You don't have to be so nervous you know," brad said softly. "We're not that scary!" He loudly whispered making me laugh.
"Haha awh, I'm sorry, I just want to make a good impression."
"Don't apologise! You already have! As I said, James has told us a lot about you."
"Really, like what?" I asked, intrigued.
"Just stories about what you two have done together, funny things, the photos in his bedroom, your friend Grace.. And basically how amazing he thinks you are." Brad smiled. "Awh you're blushing!" Brad said in a silly voice noticing my rose red cheeks. I cupped my cheeks and laughed. I suddenly felt a lot more comfortable, Brads a lot more friendlier than I had expected.
"He seems to be a lot happier since he met you. So thankyou."
James and tristan came back with drinks and James started to cook some sausages and burgers on the BBQ.
"So how long have you two been together then?" Brad asked us. James looked at me as if to say 'you answer'
"Urrhmm, a week I think."
"Ooh! Exciting!" Tris squealed. He's so funny. We drifted into general conversation on where we're all from, how the boys met, why I'm here, family members. The normal 'get to know you' kind of thing.
"So where have you lived then?" Tristan asked me.
"Everywhere really!" I laughed. "Ermm, I've lived in London, Scotland, Cornwall, Wales, Surrey, Birmingham-" Brad cut me off.
"Birmingham! That's where I live!"
"Oh my gosh! We could have been neighbours." I laughed.
"Who would have thought it." He joined in.
"Burgers are almost done, do you guys mind bringing things in from the kitchen?" James announced.
"Sure." Said tris.
"Yep." Brad got to his feet. I stood up too to help but tris gently pushed me back down by my shoulders.
"No no, you are the guest for dinner! You stay." I laughed and remained in my seat until they'd gone. I then stood up again and walked over to james and the BBQ.
"Heyya." I said as I watched him turn some sausages. James smiled at me and kissed my cheek.
"You feeling less nervous now?" He asked.
"Yeah, I just don't want to say anything stupid that I'll regret."
"Don't worry." James laughed. "If anyone does that it will be Tris." I grinned.
"They're so nice."
"Yeah they're good guys. They like you I can tell."
"Really? How??"
"Well they're still talking to you for a start!" Laughing at this, the boys came back with arms filled with sauces and plates. They lay them down on he table and sat back down ready for james to serve the food. I joined them.
