James' p o v

I woke to see the most beautiful girl still resting against my chest. Is this real life? She's perfect, I never imagined this ever happening. I never thought she liked me back but recently my mind has been changing. I don't want to get cocky about it, but I think she might. I turned my head carefully trying not to wake Lou, to see if Grace was awake. She wasn't, however Will was, and he was just starring at his phone. Texting I think. When he noticed I was awake, he looked up from his phone, and gave me the coldest look. I raised my eyebrows and turned my head back round.

"Not a morning person Will?" I said quietly in order not to wake the girls. He grumbled and sarcastically laughed.

Lou's hair was still in perfect condition even after sleeping. I found myself lifting my hand to stroke it, but then I stopped myself. I don't want to wake her. I gazed at her again. It won't hurt, right? I softly lent my hand on her head and smoothed my hand over her hair. Soft doesn't even cut how her hair felt under my fingers. I twisted a piece of her hair around my finger, and the carried on stroking it.

I felt her stir slightly, then she yawned, and squeezed my waist and buried her head into my chest. Smiling to myself, I cuddled her into me.

"Good morning beautiful." I whispered into her ear. She wriggled and lifted her head to look at me.

"Good morning gorgeous." She replied smiling. I grinned at her before she buried her head back into my chest.

"How long have you been awake?" She grumbled. I only just made out what she said.

"Shhhh," I stoked her hair again. "Grace is still asleep, and only a few minutes."

"Sorry!" She whispered back. "And good." I continued to stroke her hair, and she snuggled up against me. I'm not going to lie, this is the happiest I've felt in a long while.

Around about 10 minutes later my stomach growled very very loudly. As Lou was lying on my stomach, I'm guessing she heard it twice as loud, and also felt it. Great! She lifted up her head almost instantly and gave me a half shocked, half laughing face.

"Tiny bit hungry?" She whispered. I mouthed 'yes' back to her and nodded a few times. She lifted the blanket off of us and stood up.

I wish we could have laid like that for a bit longer. Or maybe all day.

"I'll make you some breakfast." She said quietly. She took the blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders and waddled out of the lounge. I remained seated for a few seconds just letting everything sink in. I want to wake up to her every morning.

"James?" A loud whisper said. I looked to the door where the voice came from.

"You coming?" Said Lou, she had now placed the blanket over her head, like a hood. I laughed when I saw her and got to my feet. She disappeared off again.

"She's way too good for you dude." Will sighed, not looking up from his phone. He had that 'I know I'm right' face on.

He's just trying to get to you. He's just being that same dick you knew in high school. Ignore him. She does like you. She does.

But he could be right... She can do everything. Seriously everything. And what can I do? Music. Oh, and that's the thing her parents hate.

Lou's p o v

I grabbed ingredients for pancakes out of the cupboards and measured them out into a bowl. I began to whisk them together just as James walked in.

Last night is a blur to me. A crazy, amazing, perfect blur. I'm finding it hard to believe it was real, I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. Its not even like we did anything cheeky... He just makes me feel so... So... You know?
