She closes her laptop and finishes her wine and walks over to the dishwasher and puts her glass inside. She sighs and then walks into her bathroom and goes to the deep soaking jet tub, turns on the water to fill the tub up as she adds some oils that make her skin just radiant and smooth. When the water level is at that point that you can't get any more in the tub she turns the water off. She sinks down into the huge tub and leans her head back and just relaxes. This is when Misty begins to think about what Lynda had said, was she really blind to his affection towards her? She knows how she feels about him but she never thought that he cared about her like that. It made her stunned that she was so completely oblivious to things that were going on around her. Somehow an hour has gone by and she's still in the tub, you wouldn't know it though as the water doesn't get cold in her tub, she has one with a heater built in to keep the temp up. She pulls the knob to release the water and gets out of the tub and wraps herself in the most soft and comfortable towel ever, they were a set, it was a gift from Lynda before her trip. Misty puts on her plush robe and puts her hair in the towel and walks into her bedroom and lays down on her bed, turns over and over for about an hour, her mind not shutting down, thoughts running through her mind about how Charlie had acted around her and how she could tell he didn't like Liam or the fact that she was spending time with him. She tried hard to not think about it anymore but had to end up taking a sleeping pill and turned on some soft music and then she finally fell asleep, a very deep sleep.
She had a really terrifying dream, so troubling that it was hard to think that she didn't make herself wake up to her own screams. They were mainly of Bob and his threats and Liam and Charlie. Bob's dream is easy, the man is a lunatic but super dangerous, screaming that she was his property and that he was going to do whatever he wanted to her and there was nothing she would be able to do about it, spray painting her entire house with horrific names, braking windows and exploding front doors and finally cutting her brake lines on her car so she couldn't stop her car. She was running in a dark room but never really getting anywhere, there were doors after doors but most didn't open, some did but what was behind them was frightful. Mean looking men telling her that Bob was going to get what was his and that they were going to hold her down for him. She ran and ran, she was getting out of breath and even more terrified that he would catch up to her. She briefly woke up, sweating and shaking and then realized she was safe and ok, she was in her home and no one else was there. Still scary as shit but she knows that right now it's a dream, more or less.
She fell asleep again and the dream that she had about Liam was a little disturbing to her, this new interesting person that wants to be with her, was taking complete control over everything in her life, she no longer had a choice or a voice to state any issues that she felt were important and he was spoiling her until there wasn't anything in the world that she doesn't have and he put her on a pedestal so high that no one could ever reach her, that was his desire that she was his and his alone, he would control everything and she would be alone all the time, a lonely sad woman who wasn't really living life like she wanted to but as he decided that she would experience it. She had flashes of floggers, whips and rope and control over her that made her a submissive slave waiting for his beckon call. When that dream ended a sense of relief hit her. The dream reminded her of how much her Uncle had been and how he said he was trying to "train her". She was beginning to compare the controlling behavior between the two. Obviously, her Uncle was a sadistic monster and nothing compared to Liam's actual behavior. Liam wanted to give her the world but his way. The need for both of them to control everything was what scared her the most. Could Liam turn out to be like her Uncle? Violent? Demeaning? There was a moment where she woke exhaling and saw that nothing was real from the dream and then she laid her head back down and slipped back to sleep.
The dream with Charlie is what really scared her the most, Charlie is standing there with one of his famous smiles at Misty in the dream and gives her a huge Charlie like hug and kiss on the cheek and then all of the sudden he let her go and backed away and was walking backwards and in the process, he is waving good-bye and she's trying to reach out to grab his hand to get a hold of him, she feels as though she needs him to stay with her like she needs air to breath, to survive. She was scared about living without him, without talking to him, without the comfort that he provides her and then he just vanished, there was no trace of him and he could not to be found anywhere. She hunted and searched for him, yelling his name out into the unknown but she could not find him, she was shattered in grief and the just total loss of him. She crumpled to the floor in her dream and was crying beyond control and the sense of loss in this dream was so prevalent that it actually woke her up with a jolt and she was crying out for him, screaming really, it was so loud, she was thankful at that moment that she was alone. She remembered that dream in extreme detail, she normally didn't remember her dreams so vividly but this one had such a profoundly dark and horrific probable reality that she clung to it so that she could somehow try to make it so that it wouldn't come true.
