He kisses her and picked her up and carried her to the truck and put her inside the cab. He laughed and said "That was one long ass run you went on, how are your legs?" He had that sly look on his face and Misty just laughed and said "my legs are never too tired for you love!" She winked at him and he laughed. They drove home, "Baby you go and take a shower, I'll make breakfast and then we'll talk about last night, ok?" She laughed and ran to the bathroom, jumped in the shower and he started making breakfast. Eggs, bacon and pancakes, the smell was amazing. Fresh coffee brewing too. She came out to the kitchen table in a tee-shirt and pair of shorts, he had put the food out and her coffee too. "Hello, beautiful! How was your shower?" She smiled "good but lonely" she laughed. He smiled "Sorry babe, but this won't make itself without one of us." She sat down at the table and he did the same, they began to eat and Charlie told her about what happened the night before. "So, I let the waitress and the bar back home early because it was really slow and I wanted to come home to my girl." he smiled. " I guess I forgot and didn't lock the door, I was standing at the register counting the money to deposit and this guy comes in and asks for a beer. He smelled like whiskey, actually he smelled really strong of whiskey. I told him that I was closed for the night and apologized but for him to come back tomorrow. He sat down on a bar stool and cracked his knuckles and said "well then give me the money!" I told him to leave and I picked up the phone behind the bar and dialed 911, he grabbed me and pulled me across the bar and threw me to the floor, he threw somethings and I threw some things and fists. But the SOB didn't get a drink or my money, he dropped it on the floor when we were fighting." She looked completely shocked "How much was in the drawer?" "A couple hundred maybe," he said. She flinched "Charlie! You can't be like that, be so blasé about it. You could have died last night over a couple hundred dollars! Please don't ever do that again! It was because you showed me how to use to camera system in the bar I was able to get the tape to the police and they arrested the asshole, he was just about twelve blocks walking down the road from the bar, without a care in the world but had blood on him, your blood."

Charlie grabbed her and told her, "I was thinking that maybe, once we get married that I would get a manager to run the bar and take some time off so that I can just spend it with you and just focus on us." She looked at him and smiled "I can't wait! That sounds amazing! We could travel the world and have a long-extended honeymoon, I definitely wouldn't complain." They smiled at each other and then began to clean up the kitchen, putting the dishes in the dishwasher and making sure that everything was put away. He picked her up, kissed her and then he walked over to the couch and put her on his lap. Charlie peppers little kisses on her neck "Let's talk about the wedding, babe. Tell me what I need to do so that we can get married as quickly as possible?" She laughed and said "you getting a suit and the marriage license and everything else has been taken care of." He smiled against her neck and said "done and done, how about Thursday?" "Sounds absolutely wonderful!" she says with extreme delight. She kissed him and then grabbed her phone. He looked at her with a questioning stare, "I've got to call everyone and let them know, the restaurant, flowers, the cake and the pastor. Oh, and the guests, she laughed out loud, we definitely need to tell them!" He smiled at her and said "I'm the luckiest guy in the world." She starts making the calls and gets everything set up for Thursday, it takes about two and half hours to reach out and work on the details, she finally was done with the calls and was just gleaming and turned to Charlie, "Thursday it is then." "What are we going to do until then?" asked the both of them at the same time, they erupted into laughter and she called jinx first. They laughed harder, "now you have to get us dinner." The very next day Charlie began looking for a manager and bartender for "Bottoms Up" he wasn't kidding about wanting to spend less time there and more time with Misty.

Charlie called a friend and bartender that he had worked with before named Sean, Charlie knew him for years and asked him if he was looking for work, maybe to be a manager over the bar? Sean said "Yeah man, I just quit the last bar I was working at because they had no common sense, they'll be closing their doors soon." Sean came over to the bar and spoke to Charlie for a while and then said "Sean, I think it's time man." Charlie made him the manager of the bar, full-time. Charlie said "Now I just need a bartender." Sean knew a bartender that was looking for work and Sean said "he is a really amazing bartender." Sean called Justin and told to get his ass to "Bottom's Up" right away. Charlie laughed and he knew Sean was going to be fantastic as a manager and the bar would be in the right hands day to day. They waited and in less than ten minutes they meet with Justin, he was a good looking young guy, looked like he worked out. Charlie asked Justin to make some drinks and Justin put on a show. Bottles flying in the air and the drinks were perfect and he also brought some of his own recipes to show both of them. Charlie looked at Sean and Justin and then said "can you both start tonight? I'll introduce you to the cooks, servers, bouncers and the bar back and then I'll see what you can do." "Sean, I would like to see if there are any ideas you might have so that we can do to drum up new business. Let me know what you come up with. You'll do great, I know it." Sean smiled and said "I'll get you all set up bro, don't you worry about that. I can't wait to get started!"

Charlie and Sean went over the policies and procedures. "The kitchen closes at 11:00 pm and the staff in there must clean up before they leave but they must have your approval to leave, last call is at 1:00 am, the building should be empty and the front door locked by 2:00 am. The servers and bar back and bartender have to figure out what they will need the following day and restock it. After the bar is closed and all the staff have left, you'll count the drawer and drop the funds into the safe. Make sure that there is nothing out of order, if something is broken or doesn't work right, set it up to have someone come in and fix it, also you'll be in charge of ordering for the kitchen and the bar. After that you're good to go. Seem like something you can do?" Sean laughed and said "Bro, I got you on this and you know my standards are high, I don't take shit from anyone." "Good, good that's what I needed to hear" Charlie smiled and nodded his head. After introducing the staff to Sean and Justin, he told Sean that if he needed any help to just call him on his cell and Charlie would be back in a flash but had complete faith in his abilities to make sure that everything went right. Charlie jumped into his truck and drove home excited to tell Misty the good news.
