Lily's P.O.V.

We walked down to our seats and I turned my back on him and talked to Marlene.

"What took you so long?"

"Reading." I brought my book anyway

"Only?" She smirked

"Yes." My cheeks felt warm.

'Great.Im blushing.' I thought

"Then why did you come down here with James?"

"He came down with me."

"Yeah right." She muttered

"Nosy you are." I muttered back

" Padfoot. Stop." I heard James order Sirius.

"Oh come on. How do you know?"

Know what?

"I don't know. She does, okay. Don't you get it?!"

Who does? I'm getting curious.

"No. She hated you for 6 years! 6 years, Prongs. How do you know?"

Oh..... They're talking about me...... Wait. What!

"She likes me, Sirius."

"I don't think so."

I cleared my throat. "As a matter of fact, I do like him, Sirius."

Sirius and James widened their eyes.

"Y-y-you were listening?" Sirius stuttered

I rolled my eyes. "I heard the last part, Sirius."

"I-I-I didn't mean-" He was nervous.

"It's fine, Sirius. But not for James maybe. He might hex you. So if I were you I would watch my mouth." I smirked and continued to eat.

James's P.O.V.

I saw Lily smirk at Padfoot. I looked at him and he looked nervous. Who would have thought that Sirius was scared of Lily Evans. We'll....... If you put it that way though I would be too.

"Scared of Lily, I see."

"No I'm not."

"Right. You're not." I said sarcastically.

"I'm serious."

"I know you're name, Sirius." I joked

He realized what he said and cracked up too.

I turned to Lily. She was eating.

"Erm. Lily."

"Hmm?"

"Tell me more."

"More?"

"About... Divergent."

"Ohhhh. Later. In the common room."

"Oh. Ok."

"Why do you want to know anyway?"

"It, well, erm, sounds intersting."

"Oh. Well where were we? I'll just tell you now. Oh yeah. Tris met Four. He, I think, liked her from the time she jumped. And-"

"Jumped?"

"Jumped off the building. To reach the Dauntless compound."

She brought her book so she started reading again.

Lily's P.O.V.

I pulled out 'Divergent' again and began reading.

'THAT NIGHT, I dream that Christina hangs from the railing, by her toes this time, and someone shouts that only someone that is Divergent can help her. So I run forward to pull her up, but someone shoves me over the edge, and I wake up before I hit the rocks. Sweat-soaked and shaky from the dream, I walk to the girls' bathroom to shower and change. When I come back, the word 'Stiff' is spray-painted cross my mattress in red. The word is written smaller along the bed frame. I look around, my heart pounding with anger.

Peter stands behind me, whistling as he fluffs his pillow. It's hard to believe that I could hate someone who looks so kind- his eyebrows turn upward naturally, and he has a wide, white smile.

"Nice decorations." He says

"Did I do something to you that I am unaware of?" I demand. I grab the corner of the sheet and yanked it away from the mattress. "I don't know if you've noticed, but we are in the same faction now."

"I don't know what you're referring to." He says lightly

Then he glances at me "And you and I will never be in the same faction" I shake my head as I remove my pillowcase from my pillow. Don't get angry. He wants to-.'

My reading was interrupted by someone tapping me on my shoulder. It was Se-. I mean Snape.

"What do you want? Can you see I'm reading. What is much more important than my reading that you want to tell me?" I demand

He pulled me out of my seat forcefully.

"Where are you taking me?!" I demand once more

"Shut up, Evans."

"Snape, where are you taking me?!"

"Silencio"

I couldn't talk. Stupid Silencing Charm. We went into the Slytherin common room

'Pureblood' he said.

"Here's the Mudblood, Malfoy."

"Bring her in."

The Silencing charm had worn off.

"Sev!! Please!! Help me!!"

"Shut up, you Mudblood."

I continued to talk anyway.

"Sev, please!!! I-I-I-I thought we were f-f-friends."

"I did to, Lily. I'm sorry." Sorry for what?

"I-I-I-I'll forgive you for everything! Please help me!!" I cried

Malfoy laughed. "Do you think he will ever help you? A Mudblood?"

"I-"

"You won't help her, right Snape?"

"I- yeah. I won't."

"SEV PLEASE!"

"I'm sorry, Lily. I really am." I heard him mutter.

I blast of light came from his wand, and it was heading my way.
