Chapter 2:Payback

Still James's POV

At first, I couldn'nt feel a pulse but,after a while she was still breathing,thankfully.

"Lily, God you scared me!"

"What-what happened to me?" She looked at her dirty hands

"I'll explain lateer. First we need to get you out of here."

Lily's POV

Me and James ran.......Wait a minute. Since when did i call him James, and not Potter? Well anyway, we ran inside the common room.

"Now. What happened?!" I demanded

"The Fat Lady screamed, so we wen't outside to check it out, then some Slytherins shot Cruciatus curses at muggleborns several spells hit you then the end." Jam-No wait, Potter told me

"W-was Sev there?"

"Yup! Snivellus was one of the Slytherins who shot the spell at you."

"And we'll give him payback!" Sirius said behind me so suddenly I jumped.

"SIRIUS BLACK! DAMN IT! You suprised me."

"Chillax, Evans. Sorry"

"Fine. Fine. Anyway, what kind of payback?"

"Marauder kind of payback"

I raised an eyebrow "I'll find out tomorrow." I muttered "G'night Potter. G'night Black. I'm going to bed."

"Night, Evans" Potter said with the usual smirk

I walked up to my dormitory I shared with Marlene, Eva and Mary. I opened the door and was bombarded with questions.

"So, Lily. How was your study date?" Mary asked

"Girls! That was NOT a date." I said, pulling out my red pajamas from my closet.

"Yeah, It wasn't" Eva said with sarcasm

"It really wasn't!"

"Fine. It was not a date." Marlene said with a smirk

"Just drop it." I marched to the bathroom to dress up.

After I put on my clothes i opened the door and the girls were looking at me expectantly.

"Stop bombarding me with questions about Jam- I mean Potter." I said the second I came out of the bathroom

"But Lilyyyyyyy" They whined

"Go to sleep. Im not answering your questions anyway"

I rolled over to my bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Eva's POV

"Lily! Wake up!!!" I yelled in her ear

"WHAT THE HELL!!!"

"Come on, sleepyhead. We have class." That seemed to make her jump

"CLASS! OMG! IM GONNA BE LATE!"

"Then hurry up!!"

After class, which was really boring, we walked around the grounds.

"So Lily, do you like James?" I blurted

"NO!"

"Lily, I can tell your lying."

What we didn't know was that James was behind us, eavesdropping.

"Fine. I like him."

"Really, Evans?" James said from behind

Lily jumped.

JAMES IGNOTUS POTTER! HAVE YOU BEEN EAVESDROPPING?!"

"Probably. So..... you like me." He grinned

" NO!"

"I heard you, Evans.Now were giving some payback. Wanna come?"

"Fine. But no silly business"

James's POV

"So, what is your plan?"

"To hurt that git, of course. Evans, you like me or not?"

"How 'bout this for an answer."
