Epilogue

Ally's POV

It's been a year since Niall let me go, I've mainly been focusing on my YouTube carrier. I've finally managed to take the ring Niall gave me off, I can't keep holding onto my past. I've moved into a house with Joe and Kat on the outskirts of London, Joe and I have become really close and it was his idea to buy a house and have all of us live together so he could make sure we were safe.

I haven't returned any of Niall's texts but I haven't been able to get myself to block his number. I'm currently still single because I don't want to hurt Joe by having thoughts about Niall but I've been improving, I don't think about him nearly as much as I used to. 

"You all ready to go?" Joe asks walking into the room his hair cutely flopping across his face. 

"Yeah, hopefully this goes well" I say referring to the meet-up Joe and I have in an hour. 

"I'm sure everything will go okay if they say anything to you I'll speak my mind to them" Joe tells me wraps his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder, Joe is only a couple inches taller than I am so he can't rest his head on my mine like Niall did.

"You don't need to, I'll be okay. They don't realize the memories that come back when the talk about the conspiracies and who knows maybe they won't say anything its been like 8 months since the last meet-up so they might have forgotten about it by now." I tell him. 

"Let's hope so, what do you say I take you out for diner tonight after the meet-up. Just you and I for a few hours?" Joe asks. 

"I'd love that" I tell him, we unwrap our arms from each other and we walk down to the front door. I slide on a pair of flip-flops and grab the doorknob turning it and opening the door. It was actually a nice day out today, theres no rain and it's surprisingly sunny outside. 

I walk over to Joe's car and get in he gets in on his side and starts the car, the radio comes on and plays 'I Like Me Better' by Lauv. Joe and I sing along, Joe is honestly an amazing singer but he only tends to sing in the car. After a good half hour of singing very loudly to the songs on the radio Joe parks the car.

Joe and I were doing the meet-up at a little community hall, it was pretty cheap to rent the whole building out and we hired guards to just monitor everything.  We get out of the car and see that a few fans are waiting outside the door already even though theres still half an hour before it starts. I take Joe's hand and lead him to the fans, we're suppose to go through the side doors but I want to meet these people first. 

****After the meet-up****

"How did I ever get so lucky to have a life like this?" I ask Joe. We just finished the meet-up after three hours but I'm still in a super happy mood. 

"You've gone through quite enough. You deserve to be here, you deserve to live a life that makes you happy through everything."

"There are people who have gone through far much more than I have that don't get a light at the end of their tunnel." I tell him.

"You've worked your way up to where you are. Anyway do you want to go to diner now?" Joe asks me. 

"Sure" I say looking at the time and I see that it's already 5:00 PM. 

"I'm going to take you to the little restaurant my grandparents ran when I was a child." Joe tells me, I know what restaurant he's talking about because he's taken me to it once or twice before, even though his grandparents don't run it anymore it's been taken care of and is still a beautiful place. 

Joe and I once again sing along to songs on the radio until we get there, when we get there Joe acts all fancy and gets my door for me. We walk in and take a seat in a booth near the back of the restaurant so we can have more privacy.
