Chapter 18

Ally's POV

I made it out of the arms of whoever is holding me and ram my body into Liam's managing to get him off of Niall. I cover Niall's body with mine and look into Liam's eyes.

"It's over" realization washes over Liam's face and he gets to his feet taking a few steps back.

"We've gotta get out of here"

"There's no time mate. You wasted enough time beating Niall's face that there's no way police are pulling up right now. We aren't going to find a way out of this one." Harry shakes his head, speaking for the first time.

The three of them look at one another, I watch as Harry shrugs and takes a seat. The other boys surprisingly follow. I bring my attention to Niall, his face is red and swelling. His eyes find mine and he tries to smile.

"They won't ever be able to do anything to you again"

"Thank you" I whisper, tears fall freely from my face. I know there's no way he's getting out of this. The other boys are sure to tell the police everything Niall has done too. They'll all be going to prison for quite a while.

"I love you" His force comes out rough.

"I love you too" As the words leave my mouth the door slams open and when I look up the room begins filling with officers.

I had forgotten about the other table of people but a few of them filmed everything on their phones and begin showing the videos to the officers. I get pulled away from Niall and lead outside through an emergency exit door down the bathroom hallway. I don't fight against the officer and I let her lead me to the ambulance. I start getting bombarded with questions, too many to answer and I keep quiet just shaking my head.

"Give her some space! One question at a time and make sure she's not injured before even trying to ask another question" The officer that brought me here manages to get the crowd away from me leaving just herself and a paramedic. I want to thank her but I can't find the words, all I can think about is Niall and what's going to happen to him and everyone else.

I'm scared yet relieved that the last three years will be uncovered but I have so many questions of my own. Will Louis get brought into this? What about Kat, or Niall's mom? There are so many factors and I can't even begin to understand what the future is going to hold.

"Can I get you anything?" I turn my head to the officer and shake my head.

"Are you able to answer just a few questions for us tonight?" I nod my head slowly, knowing I'd much rather answer to this woman than any of the people she shooed off.

"First, do you have a place to go tonight?" I think of Niall's and I don't think I want to sleep in his house without him home.

"No"

"Would you mind if we took you to a hotel? We'll station two officers at the door to ensure you're safe until we find out more"

"Thank you"

"We're here to help and it sounds like you've been through a lot based on what that boy is confessing." I nod my head to show I heard her.

"Which one?" I ask.

"The one who made the call."

"Niall" his name leaves my lips. "He's getting looked at right?"

"Of course, we wouldn't leave him bleeding. As far as I know, he's alright, he just has bruising and a few cuts that will need time to heal."

"Do you have more questions?" I ask now eager to get this over with and try to sleep away today's events. Niall gave his freedom up to make sure I had my freedom back.
