Same Mistakes (sequel to Kidnapped By One Direction)

Chapter 2

Ally's POV

I gasp as I wake up on a couch, I take a look around the room and realize I'm in my living room. I look down at my clothes and I'm still wearing the clothes I was in before Niall came. Did Niall even come over? It must have been a dream but it felt so real, I shake my head trying to clear my thoughts.

I sit straight up and rub my eyes before getting up and walking to my kitchen, I open the fridge and find that it's almost empty. I sigh as my eyes search through the shelves, finally I settle for an apple.

I take a bite of the apple and I try to remember where I left my phone. I walk upstairs thinking I may have left it in my room. I walk through the doorway and see my phone sitting on my bed when I checked it the only message I've received from Niall in the last twenty-four hours is the text asking how I've been.

That means I must have fallen asleep when I was watching Stranger Things last night. I lay down on my bed and open Twitter, I respond to a few messages and mentions before I get the idea to tweet about moving to California.

'So I may be moving to Cali in a few months! If any YouTubers wanna collab dm me and we can figure something out'

I press Tweet, set my phone down on my bed and got to my closet. I grab a pair of high waisted skinny jeans and a black hoodie with a green alien symbol near my heart. I go to my bathroom and apply some makeup, I don't usually wear much but I have horrible bags under my eyes today.

Once I look presentable I go back to my bed, grabbing my phone and walking to my front door. I slide on my shoes and I take my keys and waller off of my door-side table. I open the door and close it behind, I walk down my steps and to my car. I need to get out and do something, I can't just sulk around and waste my time crying in blankets at home. Last night is the only night I'll allow myself to cry, from now on I'm not going to cry over Joe. What we had is gone.

I start the car and pull out of my driveway, I decided to go get a hot chocolate from the cafe that Kat and I used to work at. It's about two hours away but the drive will help me clear my mind, I turn the radio on and press shuffle on my phone.

I sing along to the songs and focus on the music, soon I forget about my sorrows. Sooner than I expected I'm on the street with the cafe, I park in front of the cafe and get out of my car. Walking up to the front doors I get memories of the day Niall found me. Why couldn't I have any luck with love?

I pull the cafe door open and walk in, the smell of coffee and pastries fills my nostrils. I walk to the cash and see someone who I don't recognize, a guy that looks no older than 20 with bright blue eyes and chestnut brown hair. He greets me and asks if he can get me anything.

"Can I get a hot chocolate please?" I ask.

"Yeah, anything else with that?"

"No, thank you."

"That'll be $2.25" (I know this isn't the symbol for euros but my laptop doesn't have the proper symbol)

I pay the man and watch as he goes to the machine and makes the hot chocolate for me, soon enough he's done and he hands me the warm mug. I walk over to a small table in front of the window and take a seat, I watch the people outside and they blur past the window. Taking small sips of my hot chocolate I watch as person after person comes into the cafe but walks right back out the door into crowds of people after getting their orders. That is until someone catches my eye.

Louis Tomlinson.

I watch as he walks past the window and pulls the door to the cafe open, removing his beanie as he gets inside. I haven't seen Louis for ages, at least a year and a half. There are always rumours going around about him now that he has a son. That's one thing I've never pictured Louis as, a father. After getting a drink Louis turns around, smiles at me and comes over to my table.
