This chapter is dedicated to @RhiannonMaurer for reminding me that I had written the reunion between Niall and Allison. It's been written for months and somehow publishing it slipped my mind. It's hard for things to come to an end but I hope this chapter and the next (surprise there's still one more chapter after this) will be a satisfying ending to these books. (This is as far in the timeline my books will go but if you want more Niall content I have some in the works for a sequel to my other book, Taken. Both Niall and Ally will be making appearances throughout.)

Niall's POV

Today is the day. After ten years I'm finally being released from prison. I spent a whole afternoon yesterday doing the math to keep me occupied, ten years is the equivalent of 87600 hours, 3650 days, 521 weeks and 120 months. I've lost all that time from my life with little to show for it but I'd do it all over again just to know that my Ally is safe.

Being in here wasn't quite as bad as I suspected. The boys and I get along alright again and I've written journals full of music. I have a feeling I'll never be able to share my music with the world again though. They're likely done with listening to me, I haven't had access to the internet but my best guess is that there's never-ending hate shared on all of my old accounts.

Now that I have the fresh chance I've got to take it and do as much as I can with it. I'm going to try to become someone new, someone, the world isn't going to recognize and hate. Though I can't say I look as good as I did when I came in. The ten years have aged me and I doubt anyone but my previously dedicated fans would recognize me.

"Horan, it's time to go" The guard knocks on the doorframe and I grab my bag from the floor. I stand up from the contraption that has been my bed for the last decade and I stretch my back out quickly before following the guard out. Today both Harry and I will be leaving with Zayn following in a few months. The only reason Zayn isn't leaving with us is because his chance of probation was suspended for a fight he got caught up in.

I'm led out of the area's we usually have access to and I'm lead through the halls and I almost cry in relief when the door is in sight. They have me fill out some paperwork and explain more about how my probation will work before they finally lead me out the door. When I see Louis climbing out of his car it takes everything in me not to run and hug him but I hold back and hug him once we get close enough.

"You're free to go. Now you keep to that schedule and don't screw up again alright? Someone will be checking in shortly but you have a night at home first." The guard hands me the piece of paper and he walks off.

"It's so good to see you again man" I sigh and take in a breath of the fresh air. I'm never going to go down the same road again, I need to stay free and out here.

"You too. I've got some news for you though. Why don't you get in? I brought you some real food for lunch" Louis heads back to his car and I get into the passenger seat. News? I have a feeling that this isn't going to be good. Louis hands me a fast food bag and I start looking through the contents, a couple burgers and a large fry. Louis starts the car and backs out of the parking space, he doesn't speak until we're on the road.

"I flew Allison out to see you but-"

"Really? I'm going to see her again?" I ask.

"Yes mate but I have a letter from her I was supposed to give you five years ago. I tried to get it to you earlier but I just couldn't get it through to you. I have some updated news too."

"Alright?" My excitement begins to dwindle and I become anxious to read the letter.

"It's in the glove box." I pull it open and take the letter in my hands. I open it gently and let my eyes read over the page.
