Same Mistakes (sequel to Kidnapped By One Direction)

Chapter 8

Niall's POV

"I can't believe he told her that!" I throw the chair beside me in anger.

"He may have ruined everything for me! She'll be weary and believe his lies!" I have the burning use to punch something but I can't damage my house farther.

"It'll be alright. I can even talk to her for you. I can tell her part of what went down, she'll believe me Ni, it'll work out. She's smart, there's a very good chance she isn't going to believe a word he said." Louis reassures me.

"You're right" I sigh my anger lowering. "I just can't lose her again. I've tried so hard to get her back these past few months. Liam isn't going to wreck this for me."

"Call her and explain or let me call her. I have a feeling she'll believe both of us over Liam." Louis is really the only band member I can trust now. Zayn hasn't spoken to any of us for months, Harry and I were never super close and now that Liam has done this to me there's no way I'm trusting him again.

"I wouldn't know what to say if I called her" I admit, she's been getting better and less nervous talking to me but I can feel she's still overthinking and trying to make too many decisions about us.

"Just tell her the truth or at least as much of what happened as you can. She'll come around and figure out who to believe. Right now there's still a good chance she'll believe you, you've just gotta keep going slow and become her friend before becoming her partner"

"What happens if she doesn't believe me?" I ask.

"Then we'll stay here for the night and in the morning I'll call her or visit and tell her that Liam is the one lying." I know she seems to trust Louis the most and I can't help but let that bug me. I should be the one she believes and trusts without a second thought. I've just messed all of that up in the last few years.

"Alright, I'm gonna head into the next room. Hopefully, this goes okay."

"It will, good luck Ni" I give Louis a nod before walking into the study.

I bring her contact up but her phone's shut off my eyebrow furrow. She rarely turns her phone completely off. Regardless I try calling her number and like expected she doesn't pick up. I quickly check her laptop and she isn't on it either. I get uneasy, would Liam do something to get back at me? He has his family to worry about but what if had hired someone?

I go back into the living room and quickly explain the situation to Louis. He seems to agree that heading over to her house to figure out what's going on and that making sure she's safe isn't a bad idea. As quickly as we've made the decision, we're in the car and I'm driving to her house.

When we pull up to her house I'm not sure if I should be relieved or worried to see the lights on. I go open the side door to the garage that doesn't happen to be locked Louis follows cautiously. I reach the door leading to the house and I twist the knob and it opens meaning Allt didn't lock it which isn't a good sign.

Louis and I walk into the house and the TV is clearly playing so we both walk soft-footed to the direction the noise is coming from. Stupidly, I step on a creaky board right when I'm turning into the living room. My eyes catch the quick movement as Ally lurches around and screeches leading her to fall off the couch.

"Idiot! I told you to knock if you ever came back!" Her fear quickly turns to anger.

"Sorry, I can explain. Can we go talk?" I ask, Louis hasn't turned the corner yet and I'm not quite sure he want's to.

"You break into my house for the second time today and you expect me to go someone with you? Hell no, I'm spending the rest of the night here watching trashy TV shows and I'd appreciate it if you would leave!" She's clearly not very happy about me coming in again.
