Same Mistakes (sequel to Kidnapped By One Direction)

Chapter 14

Ally's POV

"We're going over to Niall's today to help him try to find you so you'll be here alone for the day again. There's paper and a few pens in one of the kitchen drawers so you can work on planning. If you help figure out all the plot holes in the plan your freedom will come quicker." Liam and Harry both stare at me. My mind was too occupied yesterday and dinner last night was almost silent. I've got to get playing the part better today and just hope to find a way of telling Niall everything later on.

"I'll do my best" I take a bite of the toast and eggs we're having for breakfast and they finally take their eyes off of me.

"Good, we're leaving soon. If you come up with enough solid idea's today we may take you out for dinner tonight." That could be an easy solution, get away now and I won't even have to bother with anything else.

"Of course it'd be a reserved dinner in a private room. We can't have you trying anything before the plan is finished." I give a nod knowing it'll be suspicious if I argue.

"I'm just gonna run to the bathroom and we can leave after that" Liam stands, leaving Harry and me alone. I stay silent for a minute but I know I need to say something.

"Don't let Niall do anything stupid. I can't imagine how upset he is or what he's going to be like after he thinks I'm dead. You're being a pretty crappy friend but you need to be there for him after this. Pay attention to how he's acting, he locked himself away for months when he just thought I left him." I take a breath before continuing.

"I have a feeling he's going to blame himself once he thinks I'm dead. You need to be there for him and you need to keep him happy and encourage him to move on." I look up into Harry's eyes. "Please" I plead.

"That's what we were going to do but it doesn't really sound like you're over him" Harry smirks, as though he's beaten me.

"I still care about him. This plan is cruel and I don't want him to be hurt for the rest of his life because of it. He spends too much time dwelling on me anyway, I've wanted him to be able to move on for years. We're all adults now Harry, I want my own life and I want to find who I can be with for the rest of my life. I knew Niall wouldn't be a forever relationship but we kept running into each other so I gave it another chance and once again it hasn't worked out." I cover as convincingly as I can.

"If you say so. Liam and I did some thinking yesterday though and even if you do get out or we let you go there's no way for you to talk to Niall again."

"You don't need to tell her anything, Harry. Come on, Niall is expecting us at eleven" Liam walks out and I'm not sure how much of the conversation he heard though I'm sure Harry will tell him later on anyway.

My eyes flick to the time on the stove and it's already 9:24 AM that means we're less than an hour and a half from Niall's and even closer to other civilization than I thought. Liam catches my glaze and cusses under his breath.

"Don't think of trying anything. You won't be able to get out regardless, so what if you know we're closer to a town than we told you. You would have found out tonight anyway, let's just go Harry." Liam walks out and Harry soon follows but not before reminding me that I need to write out foolproof ideas to get the reward of going to dinner.

As I hear the car start up realization hits me, they were able to just walk out the door. They wouldn't have a way to lock it from the outside if they're in here. If I could just sneak out of the house I could lock them inside and take off, it'd be even better if I could get the car keys first. But then I have the problem of not knowing how to get back to Niall's and I have to take a chance and hope the car has it programmed. If it isn't then I would have to depend on memory which I know wouldn't work and I can't go to a police station because getting Liam and Harry arrested would just get Niall, Louis and Zayn arrested too. That is if the police aren't corrupted for celebrities too and they wouldn't just bring me back to Liam and Harry.
