CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT: BACK TO NORMAL

As the boat touches the shore, Hennessy jumped out of the motorboat. Walang salita itong naglakad palayo sa mga kasama. All of them wondered what happen. She seems okay last night. Lahat sila ay nagtataka sa mga galawa niya.

Sumunod na rin ang iba na umalis sa motorboat. They all stood up in front of the wall and as they bring their grappling hooks out. Inikot ikot muna nila ito sa ere bago ibato with full force so that it'll reach the top of the wall. Noong nakawit na nito ay hinila nila upnag siguraduhing malakas ang kapit. When they were sure enough, they already started climbing up.

Hennessy was fast to climb up just to avoid Ishun. Ayaw niyang makita o malapitan pa ito. It may seem childish but that's what she feels. And she has no time for crying. She'll never forget the real reason why she's here ever again.

Nang makarating siya sa tuktok ay agad niyang tinanggal ang grappling hook niya mula sa pader at linagay sa bag niya. She tied her hair up and fixed her shoe laces. Nang makita niya ang net sa baba ay agad niyang itinaas sa ere ang mga kamay at tumalon pababa.

It didn't take long for her to reach the bottom. Agad siyang tumayo at tinanggap ang ilinahad na kamay ni Pierce sa kanya. Maraming tao ang nakapalibot sa net, inaabangan ang pagdating nila. But she didn't bother looking. Diretso ito sa league house at walang alinlangang padabog ni isinara ang pinto. No one heard it, though, since naiwan sila sa baba.

Linagay niya ang bag sa isang sulok at saka inakyat ang kama niya. Kaagad siyang humiga at humugot ng malalim na hininga bago ito mabilis na pinakawalan sa ere. She closes her eyes after.

She woke up feeling something warm upon his forehead. She instantly opened her eyes just to see Peirce. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Why do you sound so grumpy?" He asked back. Hindi sumagot si Hennessy. She remained silent as she averted his gaze from him to the window. "What time is it?" She asked.

"7 in the morning." Pierce replied. "Anyway, I came here because we'll have a meeting before lunch. Them after lunch, training. Shooting ka daw ngayon. So, you'll be with Astrid and Ayesha. Yes?"

"Ayesha?" Di niya mapigilang tanong. Pierce's eyebrow shot up. "Yes?" Patanong nitong sagot. "Bakit siya kasama?"

"Because shooting is her specialty. ButAstrid will be there anyway, hindi naman kayo siguro magpapatayan." He said. Hennessy rolled her eyes and climbed down. She lazily looked at Pierce. Naningkit ang mga mata niya noong bigla itong ngumiti ng malawak.

"What?" Hennessy asked with a crinkled nose. Pierce did the same. "Nothing." He answered. Magsasalita pa sana ulit si Hennessy nang biglang may umubo.

Napalingon silang dalawa dito. There stood Ishun, with arms lying upon the door, looking intently at the two of them. "Don't make my command a reason for you to stay at a girl's room, Galvez." He spoke.

Pierce nodded and chuckled. Tumingin siya kay Hennessy at nagulat na lamang ito noong hinalikan niya ito sa pisngi. "Bye, my Alexus!" He exclaimed before shutting the door. Nalaglag ang panga ni Hennessy at mariin na pinunasan ang pisngi.

Nang nagtama ang tingin nila ay agad siyang yumuko upang umiwas. "Bakit ka andito?" Tanong niya habang nakatalikod. "I was just wondering why you haven't arrived yet. Naglalambingan pa pala kayo ng ex mo."
