My sweet lady Davina (Another Kolvina story)

Chapter 5

Kol's pov

I was taking the last of the horses out to the field, I'm actually enjoying working here I know it's my first day and I should feel anxious but I'm not, working in the stables with the horses isn't as bad as I thought it would be, who knew it would be relaxing to work with horses, well my brother Klaus always said animals are better company than people I thought he was just bluffing but now I see he was right. Once I let the horse onto the field I take the time on my pocket watch and see it's time for my first break, I head to the house since I know Davina's husband isn't at home I saw him leave half an hour ago. I knock on the door and wait for Davina to answer as I wouldn't want to scare her by just walking in her home without her knowing, a smile appears on my face when she opens the door "hi Kol is everything okay?" she asks with a smile "yeah I'm on my break I'm kind of thirsty" I say half lying as I am thirsty and I might've wanted to see Davina "oh do come in I'll get you something to drink" she says moving aside to let me enter, she shuts the door behind me and motions me to follow her into the kitchen "would you like some of that orange juice you had for breakfast?" she asks with her back facing me "if you have some left" I say leaning against the doorway of the kitchen "you're in luck since it's just me who drinks it my husband hates orange juice he likes his bitter coffee and beer" she says as she pours some of the juice into a glass before handing it to me "may I ask you a question?" I ask "sure ask away" she says folding her arms across her chest "how old are you because you seem so young while your husband seems not so young? " I ask "I'm 16 as for my husband he's 26" she says with a faint smile "woah sorry but shouldn't he be with someone his own age?" I ask curiously Davina should be with someone near her age someone like me maybe? Wait why did I just think that? I've only just met her and she's married for gods sake "ask him that" she says bluntly I frown "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude or offend you I'm just very curious" I say "it's okay" she says biting her lip "how long have you been married?" I ask "six months it doesn't sound like a long time but it feels like a long time" she says running a hand through her hair "so how are you finding the job?" she asks changing the subject before I could even reply to what she said "it's great the horses are lovely" I say "good well you know if you need anything just come find me" she says placing a hand on top of mine which was resting on the counter "sure" I say looking her in the eyes, wow her eyes are beautiful so bright I could stare into them all day and her hair is so silky and soft it makes me want to run my hands through it, she looks away clearing her throat "well I must start preparing lunch" she says turning away "yeah I should be getting back to work" I say "yeah I'll bring your lunch out to you" she says "okay" I say staring at her for a moment before exiting the kitchen and leaving the house, making my way back to the stables with that gorgeous girl in my mind.

So their feelings for each other will develop quickly but they won't act on those feelings till at least another six or seven chapters, stay tuned for more
