Chapter 58

Two days later..

Davina's pov

I smile as Kol plays with Charlie as I fold their clothes that I recently washed and dried. My mother wasn't present at the moment as she had gone to collect my siblings who were being dropped off in the village. "Who's a good boy?" Kol coos tickling Charlie who giggles and squirms under his father's hold as Kol has Charlie on his lap, cuddled into his side and he moves further in his arms as Kol tickles him. "Bababa" Charlie babbles in response shrieking as Kol continues to tickle him "that's right you are a good boy" Kol coos chuckling as Charlie tries grabbing his hands to stop his tickling assault although he's laughing his little head off and it makes my heart swell at the sight of my boys laughing and bonding together. "Are you daddy's boy?" he coos Charlie babbles in response and looks at me as I'm stood on the other side of the room as I sort out their clothes. Kol notices his gaze and looks at me with a smile "oh I see you're a mummy's boy" he coos as he moves Charlie and holds him up gently so they're now face to face and he sticks his tongue out at him making him giggle and swat at his face making Kol chuckle.

Once I've finished folding and sorting the clean clothes, I walk over and sit beside Kol "what are my boys doing?" I coo gently rubbing Charlie's cheek with my thumb making him smile "we're having a bit of father and son time" Kol replies "alright well I'll leave you to have your father and son time. I'll be putting away the clothes" I say beginning to stand up but Kol pulls me back down "stay love. You're more than welcome to join as you are our girl" he says grinning at him making me smile. "Well aren't you nice daddy" I reply he bites his lip for a second before handing Charlie to me "I'm gonna put the clothes away" he says getting off the couch "what? No I'll do it" I respond standing up with Charlie in my arms "settle down love you've been on your feet nearly all day so let me put the clothes away and allow me to make dinner tonight" he replies giving me a kiss on the lips "okay" I reply he strokes my cheek as he gives me a smile "what?" I ask he shakes his head "nothing I'm just feeling so happy right now" he replies giving me another kiss and Charlie attempts to push him away and kisses me on the cheek. "Alright buddy I thought we talked about this. We share mummy's kisses" Kol says playfully earning a grin from Charlie and a playful eye roll from me "okay go do what you need to do before you and Charlie get into a serious debate about kissing me" I reply Kol chuckles and kisses my forehead before grabbing the folded clothes and heading upstairs leaving me with our little boy. 

I turn my attention away from Charlie when there's a knock at the door "that must be your grandmother with your aunt and uncle" I say kissing Charlie on the forehead as I head to the front door. I grab the handle and twist it, pulling the door open revealing my mother standing there with two children beside her my brother and sister. "Hello come in" I say stepping aside to let them in and shutting the door once they're in "so this is Leon and Maisy your brother and sister. Leon and Maisy this is your big sister Davina and your nephew Charlie" mother introduces Leon and Maisy smile and engulf me in a hug wrapping their arms around me making me smile. "Well hello it's so good meet you. I've always wanted to be a big sister and I'm so happy to be the sister of you two" I say breaking the hug as I look down at them since they aren't quite at my height level. "Mother and father always talked about you and we always dreamed that one day you'd come back and we'd be able to meet you" Leon says smiling at me "you dreamed right" I reply giving them both a smile "you're so much prettier than I expected" Maisy says "aw why thank you and you are very pretty yourself" I reply earning a shy smile from her "thank you" she replies. Leon and Maisy pretty much have the same features, brown hair like mine, olive sun kissed skin, small button like noses just like mine except for their eyes Leon has blue-green eyes just like me but Maisy has hazel-brown eyes like our mother. "Well this is Charlie my son. He's your nephew" I say bending my knees a little bit so they can get a better look at him "he's so cute" Maisy gushes smiling at Charlie while Leon pulls a funny face at him making him laugh. "Who is making my son laugh?" Kol asks as he comes down the stairs obviously having heard my mother and siblings. He smiles at my mother and siblings "my siblings seem to be making a good impression on Charlie" I say as Charlie laughs while my siblings keep pulling silly faces at him "that's good" he replies "we should move from the hall and sit in the living room. You two can play with Charlie in there" I say turning around and heading into the living room and I hear them all follow me. I sit on the couch and gently place Charlie on the floor as Leon and Maisy sit down. "I'm going to start dinner" Kol says giving me a kiss on the cheek before leaving the room leaving me with my mother and siblings. "so has Kol's siblings come back?" my mother suddenly asks "no they haven't reappeared since their encounter the other day when they showed up here to talk to Kol" I reply I'm aware that Kol's siblings came back after he turned them away on our doorstep as he told me and warned me to be careful because they might come back and he was afraid they would hurt me. "What do you think of it? Don't you think Kol should talk it out with them?" mother questions "well yeah sure but when Kol's ready to talk it out with them. Kol was hurt by what they did and it's not something he's going to get over in one day. He needs time and space" I reply "does Kol know his father is on his deathbed?" mother asks "yes he told me and he's not really bothered by it because he said he never really was close with him and he also hasn't forgiven him or his mother for turning their backs on him when he was still young and blaming him for something his brother did" I respond Kol and I tell each other everything we don't keep secrets from each other. "I've spoken to his mother and they do wish to see him just once to know how he's doing before his father passes away" mother replies "I'll pass it on to Kol" I reply I won't push Kol to do something he doesn't want to do or isn't ready to do. 

Meanwhile

Klaus's pov

Me and Rebekah are waiting for Elijah to return as he went to get Emma as we thought if Kol saw his niece then it would persuade him to come home or at least get him to listen to us. Elijah was reluctant as he didn't want to use his daughter like this but I'm desperate and I need Kol to listen to us and forgive us because we need our brother. So Elijah left two days ago to retrieve his daughter and he should be arriving here any minute now. "What if he's not come back with Emma? What if Hayley didn't allow him?" Rebekah asks as we sit in the lounge of the little cabin we've rented while we stay here. "Hayley knows it's important for us to get our brother back home so I'm sure she's allowed Elijah to bring Emma back with him" I reply Rebekah doesn't respond as there's a rattle at the door before it opens and Elijah walks in with Emma in his arms and Hayley in tow. "Not one word Klaus. I wasn't going to let Elijah bring Emma here alone especially with your intentions to guilt trip Kol" Hayley says sternly "well at least she's here that's all I care about so she will help us do what we need to do. Her appearance will shock Kol and he will soften as he will realize he can't lash out or hit us when there's a child present meaning he will have no choice but to listen to us" I reply "are you even sure this will work? Because from what Elijah has told me Kol doesn't want anything to do with anyone of you" she replies "well for now he doesn't but once he sets eyes on his niece. It will warm him to us again as he will want to know his niece so we'll be able to talk to him and get him to listen to us, to forgive us and then we'll be able to take him home away from his so-called wife" I reply Hayley glares at me in disgusts "you're talking about basically sabotaging his marriage and tearing him away from the woman he loves. If I was Kol it would make me hate you even more" she retorts "he doesn't love her. He's just using her" I say angrily "you don't know that because you weren't there when he met her and you weren't there when he married her" Hayley fires back. "Klaus I managed to speak to mother before I left. I told her about how we found Kol and she wasn't happy, she was angry at us" Elijah says "why would she be angry at us for finding our brother?" I ask "because she knows where he is. She tracked him down a few weeks ago and saw he was happy" he replies "so she found him and didn't bother to bring him back?" I question "our mother knew Kol was happy and she didn't find him on the intent to bring him back. She only wanted to find him because father wanted to know how he was doing and if he was okay as did mother" he explains "so they both know he was fine and didn't tell us" I retort angrily "I also told mother of how Kol's wife is Penelope's long lost daughter Davina and mother told me how Kol and Davina had met briefly when she was a newborn and she said Kol never took his eyes off her. She said Kol and Davina meeting one another wasn't a coincidence, it was fate" Elijah replies "I suggest you three seriously think about what you're doing here especially you Elijah. I'm angry that you want to bring Emma into this and use her as some kind of bait"  Hayley retorts Elijah looks down ashamed "I know it's bad but I just want my brother to see Emma even if it's just once" he replies Hayley nods "take her to see him once and that's it. If Kol chooses to be involved with her then fine but if he doesn't then she's coming straight home with me as will you" she replies "I understand" Elijah replies placing a kiss on her forehead making her smile. "Well let's hurry this up. Our niece has an uncle to meet" I say ignoring everything of what was said because I just want Kol to listen to us.

End of chapter. What did you think? Davina has met her brother and sister. Elijah has brought his daughter down as Klaus wants to use her to get close to Kol which I know is bad on his part. What will happen when Kol meets his niece? Will Kol feel enraged that his siblings dared to bring his niece to see him as some form of manipulation? Will his siblings find out he's a father? How will they react when they discover he has a child with Davina and they have a nephew? What will happen next? Stay tuned for more
