My sweet lady Davina (Another Kolvina story)

Chapter 33

Two days later

Davina's pov

I lay in bed as Kol sits in the chair beside me reading through his grimore. It's been two days since the doctor came to check on me and I've had plenty of rest and drank lots of water but I don't feel any better. I'm still getting headaches and feeling lightheaded also yesterday I threw up a few times which made Kol even more worried than he was so this morning when I sprang to the chamber pot to throw up he immediately got out his grimore and started looking for a spell that could help me or tell us what's wrong with me.

"there's a soothing spell it helps reduce any pain but it only lasts a few hours" Kol explains to me "we could try that but what about the healing potion I used on Joseph could that work?" I ask "not exactly the healing potion is designed specifically to heal sores, wounds, injuries and cure fever depending on how potent the potion is" Kol explains flipping through the grimore "oh" I say feeling helpless.

"I'm going to do the soothing spell at least then you're not in any pain for a few hours" Kol explains getting up from the chair and placing the grimore on the nightstand "okay" I reply as Kol pulls out one of his cases that contains stuff specifically for spells.

Kol's pov

I pull out the things I need to perform the spell on Davina and put away the case. I'm deep in thought as I place out the stuff what if somethings seriously wrong with Davina? I really hope this sickness is nothing serious I hate seeing Davina sick and I don't want to lose her to some illness it will drive me crazy if I lose her. I give Davina a smile as I walk over to her "once I've done this spell I'm going to send for John" I say stroking her hair "okay" she says with a smile no matter how things are Davina always manages to smile.

20 minutes later

I open my eyes once I finish chanting the spell and I see Davina already looks slightly better "I feel a bit better" she says "you'll be even better soon once we figure out what's really wrong with you" I say putting away the stuff I used "you'll be back soon right?" she asks as I reach the door "of course love" I say giving her a smile before leaving the room.

I find the owner of the lodger "hey mam" I say as I approach her "hi sir is your wife feeling any better?" she asks "not really could you send out for your brother we really need to find out what's wrong with her" I say she nods "of course I'll send out for John right away now get back to your wife" she orders shooing me away.

"okay so John's on his way love" I say as I enter the room to find Davina reading my grimore "good" she says giving me a smile "do you need anything?" I ask "just you" she says cheekily "that is out of bounds until you're better" I say "I don't mean sex Kol I just want to cuddle" she says I nod "okay we can cuddle" I say moving to the other side and getting under the covers pulling her close to me and she leans her head on my shoulders as she flips through my grimore and I just watch her reading the grimore with her as we wait for the doctor to arrive.
