Chapter 38

Klaus's pov

I slam my hands down on the table out of frustration as my friend Lucien who I sent out to find my brother Kol came back with no news of my brother apparently he's nowhere to be found. "shall I get Cami for you?" Lucien asks "no thank you I want to be alone" I say sitting down running a hand through my hair "very well" he says before walking out the room leaving me alone.

It can't be right Kol has to be out there somewhere but the question is where? I'm completely at a loss Rebekah keeps asking me if I've found anything on Kol only to be left disappointed when I say no. Where can he be? I suppose this is what I get for being an awful brother, for lying, for causing that fight I'm just terrible if only I could go back in time and change what I did.

"Nik what's wrong?" I hear my sisters voice flow into the room "nothing" I say looking up as she walks into the room "bullshit now tell me the truth" she says shutting the door behind her. "Lucien has returned with news on Kol" I say Rebekah instantly smiles "what did he say? Did he find Kol?" she asks "no he didn't he said they found no sign of him" I say "maybe he hasn't looked hard enough" she says "I think we should just come to the conclusion that Kol is gone" I say feeling sad at my words. "no absolutely not I refuse to believe he's gone Kol has to be out there somewhere and I intend to find him even if you give up" Rebekah says before storming out of the room leaving me even more frustrated.

I let out a groan when there's a knock at the door "go away" I say "it's me Klaus" I hear my girlfriends voice come from the other side of the door "come in" I say the door opens and my beautiful girlfriend walks in "hey Lucien said you were upset" she says walking over to me and sitting on my lap "I told him not to say anything" I growl causing Cami to frown and lift up my head to face her "don't be angry he was just worried" she says kissing my cheek making me calm down. "care to tell me what's wrong?" she asks stroking my face "do you remember how I told you about my younger brother Kol and why he's not around?" I ask she nods "yes why?" she asks "recently I've had Lucien and a few other of my friends go and look for him but they found nothing" I say "well how far have they looked?" she asks "all around the area and the next town over" I say "that's not far Klaus after what happened do you really think your brother would stay anywhere near here?" she questions "of course not he'd probably leave the country just so he can avoid being near here" I say "well there's your answer" she says "what? You think Kol might'v fled the country?" I ask she nods "it's a possibility" she says I give her a smile "see this is why I fell in love with you" I say she smiles "you fell in love with me because I called you out on your shit and because I have the ability to see right through you" she says leaning down to give me a kiss which I immediately respond too and I wrap my arms around her as it deepens, god I love this woman.

So yeah that's what's going on with Klaus. He's dating Cami, I apologise to those who are Klaroline fans if you're upset by this. What do you think of Cami and Klaus? Will Klaus find Kol? Will he find out that he's married and about to become a father? What will happen next? Stay in tune
