Davina and Kol stood at the front of their house with Bonnie and Enzo. Davina held their baby son Charlie in her arms "we really do appreciate you looking after him for us tonight" Davina said gently rocking Charlie in her arms "you're very welcome we're always happy to watch him if you need it" Bonnie said smiling "I promise it won't be constant it's just me and Davina would like some us time for a bit" Kol explains Enzo chuckle "mate we get it all parents need a time out for quality time away from the kids with each other, me and Bonnie do" he said Davina slowly handed Charlie over to Bonnie. "Now we won't be out too long but if there's any problems then please do fetch for us" Davina said "everything will be fine Davina" Bonnie assured "okay well he's already been fed so he won't need feeding until another four hours, he just needs a bath and he should go right to sleep after that" Davina said looking at her baby boy who was looking right back at her "okay now go you two get out of here" Bonnie said as Enzo shooed them out the door "okay we're going take care" Kol said chuckling at Enzo as he and Davina stood outside "have fun" Enzo said waving them off as they started walking away.

Kol led Davina over to a carriage which was being pulled by Maddox and Kol helped Davina onto the carriage. "Okay go boy" Kol said making a whistling sound at Maddox who immediately sets off down the path heading to their destination.

15 minutes later the couple arrives in the nearby village and the carriage stops outside a restaurant. Davina and Kol got off the carriage and Kol turned to a man wearing a posh suit that was stood beside the carriage "sir would you like me to move your horse and carriage for you?" the man asks "oh are you sure?" Kol asked "of course it's part of my job" the man said taking hold of Maddox's reins and starting to move forward "wait can you have him back by the front in an hour?" Kol asked making the man stop "of course sir" the man replied before walking away gently pulling along Maddox.

"Well after you m,lady" Kol said as he opened the restaurant door "why thank you what a gentleman" Davina replied as she entered the restaurant with Kol following after her. A guy in a suit walks up to us "how may I help you?" he asks "we'd like a table for two" Kol said he nods "right this way" he says grabbing two menus and turning on his heal and walking off, Kol and Davina follow after him. He stops at a table "table for two" he says handing us the menus as we sit down "would you like anything to drink?" he asks pulling out a pad and pen "just water for me please" Davina said he nods and writes it down "a bourbon for me" Kol said he nods writing it down "okay your drinks are coming right up I'll be sending someone to take your food order very shortly" he says "okay" Kol replied he nods and walks away leaving Kol and Davina.

Kol reaches across the table and grabs hold of one of Davina's hands, gently rubbing it with his thumb "how are you feeling?" he asked "good it feels nice to be getting some time to ourselves although I'm missing Charlie" she said "I know I miss him too but we'll see him soon" Kol said giving her hand a gentle squeeze she smiled at him and leaned forward so Kol also leaned forward and their lips meet in a short, sweet kiss.

The kiss was short as they heard a waiter approaching with their drinks "here's one water and one bourbon" the waiter said placing the drinks down in front of them "thank you" Davina said grabbing her water and taking a sip. "Are you ready to order?" the waiter asks the couple looked at each other and nodded "yes" they said in sync making the other smile "what would you like?" the waiter asked pulling out his pad and pen "I'll have the chicken" Davina said "I'll have the lamb" Kol said the waiter nodded and wrote down the orders "anything else?" the waiter asked "no thank you" the couple said in sync "okay your order will be coming right up I'll take those menus from you" the waiter said taking the two menus "okay" Kol said with a nod as he turned to face Davina as the waiter started walking away.
