'So he made me an entertainer.' Steve sighed at the tight navy, red and white outfit, pulling on it a bit when it got tight around his leg. 'If I do this long enough, hopefully I'll be able to get to Bucky.' He thought. He missed Bucky's charming smiles and smart remarks, the teasing between them...He also missed the warmth of his hands and the sweet kisses, the sparkle of his sky blue eyes and his comforting hug.

He could really go for one of Bucky's hugs in all honesty. A kiss would be a bonus. Just knowing he was alright would be amazing.

"Ready?" The dancer chuckled.

"I don't think I can do this..." Steve said nervously.

"Don't worry, you're Captain America now, you'll do fine." He'd just have to hold onto that for now.

⌛️⌛️⌛️

Italy, November 1943.

Steve addressed the crowd of soldiers, dressed in his 'super-hero' suit, looking over the worn out men nervously. These people weren't children or wife's anymore after all, so he felt a lot more awkward.

"How many of you ready to help me sock old Adolf on the jaw?" He tried, but silence was all he got in return. "Okay. Uh... I need a volunteer!"

"I already volunteered! How do you think I got here?" The crowd of soldiers laughed at their comrades joke. "Bring back the girls!" That made the other men cheer.

"I think they only know the one song. But um...let me...I'll...I'll see what I can do." He said, feeling like his tongue was twisted as he went to go back stage.

"You do that, sweetheart."

"Nice boots, Tinker Bell!" That made him stop, sighing a bit as the soldiers laughed once more.

"Come on, guys. We're all on the same team here." He reasoned.

"Hey, Captain! Sign this!" A soldier turned around, pulling his pants down to moon Captain America, Steve using his shield to block off the thrown rocks and mud.

"Bring back the girls!" Steve went off the stage as the women ran on stage and the crowd cheers.

"Don't worry, pal. They'll warm up to you. Don't worry." Steve sighed at the man's words. He felt like a monkey in a circus.

"I need to go let out my frustrations." Steve left to get out of his outfit and draw. Maybe that would help let out his feelings. "I wish you were here Buck." Steve mumbled to himself.

" - Schmidt sent out a force to Azzano. Two hundred men went up against him and less than fifty returned. Your audience contained what was left of the 107th. The rest were killed or captured."

"The 107th?" Steve questioned, the number ringing familiar before it clicked.

"What?" Peggy questioned in confusion.

"Come on!" Steve got up, notebook and drawing of his monkey forgotten as he ran to the tents with Peggy close behind. "Colonel Phillips!"

"Well, if it isn't the Star-Spangled Man With A Plan. And what is your plan today?" Phillips said, looking up at Steve boredly.

"I need the casualty list from Azzano." Steve said firmly.

"You don't get to give me orders, son." Phillip frowned, standing slowly with his fists on his desk.
