Beca adjusted her cap as she stood for pictures with Stacie, Fat Amy and Jesse outside Barden's gates. Her mother stood in front of the group with tears glassing her eyes as she snapped as many photos as she could.
"Mom," Beca groaned.
"Oh come on Becs. When you're 100 years old and even smaller than you are, I can use these pictures to remind you that you used to be slightly taller," Stacie grinned.
"Fuck off Conrad," Beca murmured as she knocked the brunette's hat, causing her to pout as she pulled it securely over her head.
"Rex, get in there," Beca's mom laughed as she pushed the boy toward the four, hearing Stacie's mom chuckling in the background,
"Oh yeah this'll make the photo album," she laughed as she took a quick picture. Beca's smiled as she watched Chloe's car drive behind the group, the redhead blowing her an inconspicuous kiss as she turned into Barden.
"Mom, can we go now?" Stacie asked her mother.
"Yeah, um, Jesse, Amy, where are your parents?"
"Oh they're at work so they're coming for the ceremony and a bit after but they can't make it right now," Jesse explained with a smile.
"Oh yeah my mom too," Fat Amy nodded, "gotta get the pictures to send back to Oz!"
"Right. Ok then," Stacie's mom smiled as she packed away her camera.
"Alright bitches, let's go graduate," Amy smirked as she turned, leading through the gates of Barden and towards where the ceremony was being held. They four found their seats and sat with the rest of Barden, saying hello to anyone they met.
"Hey, look," Stacie nudged Beca as they sat.
"Huh?" Beca asked. She followed Stacie's view and caught sight of Jackie, batting away Jarod's hands as he tried to flirt with her.
"Oh my shit, looks like he ain't her type," Beca chuckled at the sight as she sat down.
"Poor old Jarod," Stacie smirked. "Hey, you spoken to Chloe yet?"
"No not today. I called her last night but, to be honest I don't know if I'll be able to speak to her today, she'll probably be swamped," Beca shrugged.
"Well I'm sure she'll make time for her favourite student," Stacie winked.
"Yeah yeah," Beca scoffed.

Beca grinned widely as she heard her name called, she made sure to watch her step as she walked up the stairs and she flashed a big smile as she accepted her diploma and her picture was taken, before quickly walking to the opposite side of the stage and down the stairs. The whole thing was over pretty fast, but it signalled to Beca that she was free. She didn't have to go to Barden any more, she and Chloe didn't have to hide as much and she was finally starting her future. She found her eyes were glassed over as she stared at the diploma in her hand. She was done. Finished.

When Beca's mom had finally stopped crying and taken even more pictures, Beca's dad appeared.
"Becs," he greeted, grinning as he hugged the brunette, "so sorry I couldn't make the ceremony,"
"It's fine dad, I'm sure mom more than made up for it," she chuckled.
"We're proud of you Beca," the pair smiled.
"Thank you," Beca smiled, and she meant it. She could see red curls flash past her as Chloe quickly turned around and flashed her a wink, and Beca watched her walk into the Barden building.
"Before we do the whole social thing, I need to pee. Find Stacie's mom and Rex, I'm sure they're around here somewhere," the brunette laughed as she excused herself. Instead of heading to the loo, she headed to Chloe's class, hoping she had interpreted the wink in the correct way, she pushed the door open and rounded the corner to see Chloe sat on her desk.
"Nostalgia?" Beca chuckled as she leant against the wall.
"Funny. How does it feel?" She asked.
"Good, very good," Beca smiled.
"You graduated," Chloe smiled as she walked toward the brunette, resting her arms around her neck.
"Wouldn't of been possible without you Beale," Beca smirked as she gave Chloe a light kiss.
"Don't doubt yourself," Chloe smiled.
"It's the truth though Chlo, let's be real. You really helped me this year, in many ways," she winked, "you did. And I'm really grateful."
"You're very welcome," the redhead smiled.
"I love you Chloe," Beca said quietly as she closed her eyes. She heard Chloe almost choke before speaking,
"Sorry, what," she stumbled.
"I love you, Chloe Beale. I probably have for a while, and I'm sick of you just being this girl I'm seeing, so I want you to be my girlfriend, officially... if you want," Beca rushed, her eyes still closed as she spoke.
"Beca, look at me," Chloe urged. Beca opened her eyes hesitantly to meet the light blue eyes of Chloe, which almost sparkled with the layer of tears that adorned them.
"I love you too," she whispered with a smile. Beca relished in the moment before replying,
"Phew I thought I did all that for nothing," she smirked.
"I thought I'd have to ask," Chloe chuckled.
"Never, but you will yeah?" Beca asked again.
"Oh no never, you know I just said that I love you for no reason," Chloe smirked, "of course I will you weirdo,"
"Fuck you Beale," Beca smirked.
"Ok can you stop talking so I can kiss you now?" the redhead huffed.
"Uh I gues-" Beca laughed before she was cut off by Chloe's lips crashing onto hers. She smiled into the kiss as she tightened her arms around the redheads waist and pulled her into her.

"Beca, help me find your dad," Beca's mom huffed.
"Uh yeah okay," Beca said slowly.
"What? What now?" the older woman asked as she peeled her eyes away from searching the crowd to see that Beca was in fact stood next to someone, "oh sorry, who's this?" She smiled.
"Mom this is Miss Beale, my English teacher," Beca smiled, "and Miss Beale this is my mom,"
"Chloe right? And please, call me Tracy," Beca's mom smiled.
"Uh yeah, Chloe," Chloe nodded slowly, bewildered at the fact that she knew her name, even though Beca had told her that her mother had a few links with the school.
"Can I ask you something Chloe?" Tracy asked.
"Yeah sure?"
"Are you the girl that my daughter's been calling every single goddamn night," she rolled her eyes.
"What!" Beca interrupted, her eyes going wide, "mom!"
"Beca sweetie, I know," Tracy turned to the brunette.
"You know what?" Beca's asked, sending a shocked look in Chloe's direction.
"I know that you two are together or whatever," Beca's mom lowered her voice to a whisper as she spoke, "and even if I didn't already your faces would've given it up right away!" she continued with a chuckle.
"Explain mom, now," Beca said sternly.
"I'm not mad, well at least not now, I was when I found out,"
"Which was when?" Beca's asked.
"Well I had an idea when we found Chloe's purse, and then you sneaking around, the fact that Stacie came round once to ask for you when you told me you were with her. I'm not stupid Beca," she laughed.
"You're not mad?" Chloe interjected.
"Not now, no. I don't know what your father will think when he finds out Becs but.... Chloe, I noticed a change in my daughter and well, I think you are to thank for that. I've heard great things about you," Tracy smiled as she gently squeezed Chloe's arm.
"Uhh, thanks," Chloe smiled.
"And I'll be sure to make Beca invite you for dinner at ours one day soon, I'd like to get to know you,"
"Right ok I think that's enough, this is weird, dad's over there mom," Beca said as she pointed to the man in the crowd. As Tracy left, Beca turned to Chloe.
"Ok that was fucking weird,"
"Extremely fucking weird," Chloe nodded.
"I'll talk to her about it tonight or whatever and come see you tomorrow?"
"Yeah sounds good, I better go and find Bree," Chloe smiled.
"Oh yeah, how about you get my mom to tell her who your girlfriend is," Beca laugh.
"Ah, you laugh Mitchell but she's going to find out one day," Chloe smiled.
"Over my dead body," Beca scoffed.
"With how you two act, it could end in that,"
"Hmm, you're right. Better go, seeya Miss Beale," Beca winked.
"Don't party too hard Mitchell," Chloe laughed as she looked around for Aubrey. Beca's smiled at her before Stacie grabbed her arm,
"Dude where are our parents?" She said.
"Um I dunno,"
"Everything okay?"
"Well. I told Chloe I loved her, asked her to be my girlfriend and then found out my mom knows about us so..." Beca explained.
"Oh shit. She said she loved you back though and said yes?" Stacie asked.
"Course she did," Beca chuckled.
"Then that's all that matters," Stacie nodded as she pulled Beca in the direction of their parents.

Jesse grinned as he hooked his arm around Beca's shoulders and pulled her into a side hug as they walked.
"Dude," Beca chuckled.
"Oh come on Becs, I'm happy for you," he smiled.
"Thanks," Beca rolled her eyes.
"Plus, I'll make sure you keep your hands to yourself at this party, can't have you doing that with a girlfriend now can we,"
"Yeah, Chloe would bite my head off," Beca chuckled.
"Too right. Now come on, let's go," he said as he lead her up a path to a massive house. Beca didn't know who's house it was, probably some dude off the basketball team, but music was blasting and voices could be heard from inside.
"Happy graduation Jess," Beca shouted as they opened the door.
"And you. Let's celebrate!" He grinned as he pulled Beca through the sea of dancing bodies and grabbed two drinks off a table, thrusting one into Beca's hand with a smile.
"Let's find the others," he shouted over the music, beca nodding and following the boy around the house until they found Stacie and Amy.
"Dudes," Amy threw up a gangster sign as she saw the pair approach.
"Now the party can really get started," Stacie shouted, "let's celebrate and get drunk as fuck!" She finished, holding up her bottle and cheersing with the others. Massive smiles adorned all their faces as they put their drinks to their lips, happy and relieved that school was finally over.
