Almost a year later, September.

"I can't believe I'm back here," Beca sighed.
"Oh come on you'll have fun," Chloe smiled as she linked her arm with Beca's and pulled her towards Barden.
"I know," Beca smirked as she followed Chloe, "you gonna come to my 'meeting' with me?"
"I can't babe, I have to set some stuff up for the new freshmen, drop by after?" Chloe asked.
"Sure thing," Beca smiled as she dropped Chloe's arm and headed down the familiar corridors of Barden. She pulled up short in front of Mr Green's classroom with a smile, before pushing the door and waltzing in.
"There's my future DJ," He quipped as he saw her walk through the door.
"Mr G, how's things? Missing me like crazy I bet," Beca joked.
"Of course Beca," the older man rolled his eyes, "can't believe you agreed to come back,"
"This place is a big part of my life, and if it can help me do something I want to do then I'm going to take it up," She nodded. The plan had been presented to Beca in the previous February by Chloe. Apparently, the principal wanted to try something new and was hoping to try and get a radio station for Barden up and running. The principal had voiced the plan to the teachers over a meeting and they all seemed eager to get behind the project as it could help a few students to be employed and help out. Yet the problem was that no student stood out and had the potential to be the station DJ. And that was when Chloe had pitched in, said she had someone that she knew would be up for it. So she went home that night and pitched it to Beca, who wasn't getting any further working for Luke and was still stacking CD's on the daily... the brunette jumped at the chance.

"So, how's this all going to work, explain again," Beca laughed.
"Right, so you know that we've built a small building on campus that you're going to set up camp in, the inside's kind of okay but we can change it around if you want. You know what you're doing with all the mixing stuff and we've basically sorted everything else for you, got it all wired up, we tell the students this week but radio's are in every class," Mr Green smiled. Beca's grin stretched from ear to ear, she was finally getting what she wanted, a chance to play her music to someone.
"Sounds awesome," she nodded, standing up to shake Mr Green's hand.
"Oh, and you can call me Brian if you want," he winked, "after all, we're practically colleagues,"
"Oh it's going to be weird being back here so soon," Beca laughed, "I better go and check in on Chloe, thank you, Brian,"
"Have fun Beca," He smiled as she left the room.

Beca swiftly walked to Chloe's classroom, enjoying the familiar sights as she rounded the corner and the redhead was at her desk, her glasses perched on her nose as she scribbled over a piece of paper.
"It's weird being back," she quipped, perching against Chloe's desk.
"Well I suppose you didn't ever think you'd have to come back, did you?"
"I didn't think I'd ever want to," Beca chuckled, smiling at the redhead who she had fallen in love with over and over in the past years, "I love you," she murmured, her eyes still locked with Chloe's bright blue ones.
"I love you, and I'm proud of you," Chloe smiled back as she rested her hand on Beca's knee, "I'm glad you're finally going to be doing something that you look forward too,"
"Mmm there's something else I look forward to doing," Beca winked.
"Something or someone?" Chloe questioned.
"Maybe you'll find out tonight," Beca smirked as she stood from the desk, "I better go, duty calls, I hope you'll be listening,"
"Couldn't turn it off if I tried," Chloe smiled, tugging on Beca's hand to connect their lips before pushing her towards the door playfully, "play something for me babe," she grinned. Beca mock saluted as she span and walked out of the door, headed across campus until she saw the building that had been constructed for her booth.

She looked around inside and smiled, in the corner was a separate room where she would eventually be mixing at, and outside there were a few couches dotted around a pool table and shelves adorned the opposite side, half filled with cd's and records. Beca ran her hand along the spines of the CD's with a smile before plucking one at random and flipping it around in her hand. She poked her head around the corner of her future booth and smiled, it was small, but it was all she needed, and she could see where Barden had done all they needed to set everything up, with Beca only needing to plug in her equipment and she was set.
She left the building and headed back to the parking lot, unlocking her car and popping open the trunk. Her hand tugged at her laptop case and she sung it over her shoulder, leaning back into the trunk to receive the rest of her kit.
"I think you might need a hand with that," a voice spoke, instantly making Beca smile.
"Jess, you came to see me?" Beca asked as she span round.
"Correction. We came to see you," Fat Amy grinned as she stood with her arms around both Jesse and Stacie. Beca rolled her eyes playfully at the Aussie and gestured to her gear,
"Come on then Swanson, put those arms to good use," she quipped as she patted his shoulder, moving to give Stacie and Amy a hug.
The three followed Beca to her booth and helped her originally with setting everything up when Chloe stuck her head round the corner.
"Hey everyone," she smiled at Amy, Jesse and Stacie, "everything good?" she directed the question at Beca.
"All's good Chlo," Beca smiled, "this lot surprised me,"
"Moral support on your big day n all," Stacie grinned.
"Exactly," Chloe grinned, "its good to see you all again,"
"Likewise," Jesse nodded.
"I better get back, play me something Becs," Chloe sent a wink in the brunette's direction and waved to the others before she left.
"So that's going well hey shawshank, do I hear wedding bells?" Amy joked as she nudged Beca.
"We've not spoken about it, it's not the right timing at the moment. But it's going well," Beca nodded.
"Don't feel pressured, you'll know when you're ready," Stacie smiled and Jesse nodded in approval.
"Thanks guys," Beca smiled lightly as she ran her hands over her decks and sighed, "I suppose my day begins now? I'll tell you all how it goes later?" She offered as she stood up.
"Of course. Have fun DJ," Stacie smirked as she hugged the brunette again.
"See you all soon," Beca smiled as she waved them out before slipping her headphones over her ears and checking the time.

It was Chloe's lunch break and unfortunately she was stuck on detention duty, trapped in her English room with two boys and a girl who sat silently in the corner. The only thing keeping her going was the fact that she could play Beca's music louder through the small radio on her desk. She listened to a track fall silent and awaited Beca's voice with a small smile.
'So as you know, this is my first day on the job here and I don't want to bore anyone who's listening but there's someone who deserves a massive thank you for everything she does for me. This ones for you babe'
Chloe rolled her eyes with a chuckle as she heard the beginning notes of Beca's 'Titanium' and 'Release Me' mix play through the radio, she turned it up a little as the song kicked in, thinking back to the first time she'd heard the song years back.
"She's a good DJ," a boy commented from the front row.
"She used to be a student didn't she?" the other boy asked.
"Yeah, she graduated last year I think," Chloe explained, trying to play it off.
"She's got mad talent," one of the boys chuckled.
"I agree," Chloe mumbled, returning her attention back to the work she was grading, relieved that it wasn't just her that was enjoying the brunette's music.

"I had fun, it's good," Beca nodded with a smile. She was making her way through Barden with Chloe on their way to the parking lot. "D'ya hear what I played for you?" She smirked.
"Of course I did," Chloe rolled her eyes.
"Good," Beca grinned.
"You're the DJ right?" Someone tapped Beca on the shoulder.
"Um, yeah," Beca nodded as she turned to face the girl.
"I'm Emily, I think I'm going to be helping you out or something," Emily shrugged, "I just wanted to say hi and that I really enjoyed listening to you today," she smiled.
"Oh, thanks, I guess I'll see you around then," Beca smiled at her and she nodded before turning and scurrying off.
"One day and you've already got fans," Chloe joked.
"Oh is someone jealous?" Beca teased.
"Yeah, totes," Chloe rolled her eyes.
"You know I've only got eyes for you babe," Beca winked with a smile.
"Whatever," Chloe chuckled as she leant against Beca's car whilst the brunette fished for the keys. She slid into the passenger seat and slung her bag into the back before relaxing into the seat.
"It's crazy isn't it?" She sighed.
"What?" Beca questioned.
"Well, everything started here. At Barden I mean. And now it's like we've done a full circle and now we're back and we're together and I don't know I just guess I never could have imagined when I first came here for the job that it would ever end up like this," Chloe rambled.
"We've had quite the journey Chlo," Beca agreed and Chloe hummed.
"But I wouldn't change any of it, I meant it when I said that you're the reason I'm here, doing what I love. If all this didn't happen then I don't know where I would be," Beca smiled.
"Probably still stacking CD's with that dickhead Luke," Chloe chuckled.
"Probably," Beca smiled. "I wouldn't change anything Chloe, anything about how we met and what's happened to us since, nothing at all. It wasn't ideal I know, but nothing was going to stop me falling in love with you," she took the redheads hand as they both continued simply staring forwards, "it was inevitable."
"Inevitable." Chloe agreed, stroking her finger over Beca's knuckles, "I love you Becs," she smiled.
"I love you too," Beca smiled, "let's go home?" Chloe nodded in response and Beca started up the car and pulled out of Barden's gates, her thoughts filled with all the times she and Chloe had shared in the place. A place that she once couldn't wait to get out of and that now held her future within it's grounds. She flicked her eyes to the right to take on her girlfriend, simply staring out of the window as her hand traced circles on Beca's knee.
Beca couldn't believe that one place had given her so much happiness, so many memories, and the woman she had grown to adore.

A/N:
I feel like this was a disappointing ending to the story but I got so stuck on what to do!!
But that's It Was Inevitable finished, thanks for all the support and I hope you liked it :)
Let me know if you have any ideas for other stories you'd like me to write - I was thinking of bringing Bechloe to Britain as that's where I'm from and it would be easier...
Thanks again! - C
