                           A few days later
                              Bella's pov
                           New York City

I laughed looking at Ed.
"You sure?" He said "of course i-" I started but my phone ran
- van calling
I knitted my eyebrows together and picked up my phone "hello?" I said walking towards the balcony "I've been calling you so many times Bella" he said "I didn't notice, why are you calling?" I asked sitting down
There were a few moments of silence until he spoke "Why are you in New York?" He asked
"to be happy." I said "with another guy." He said i turned my head to look at Ed who was looking at the tv "yes..but not like that." I lied
Why was i lying?
"Bella, come home so we can talk." He said
"Van, it's just for the best that i'm here." I said looking at the sky "no it's not.. it's not even better for you." He said "van-" I started but he cut me off "you can't escape your problems Bella, you have to face them and the only way to do that is to come home and fix things, running off to New York with a guy who you only know for two months doesn't make anything better and you will not be happier cause of it, pleas come home." He said
"I- I just can't." I said
"If you care about someone and about something's you work things out Bella, you just don't leave." He said
I closed my eyes "something's aren't meant to work out van, no matter how badly we want them to.." I whispered opening my eyes
How could i say this, i loved van.
"Bella, i love you-"
"Maybe that's just part of loving people, you have to give things up and sometimes you have to give them up." I whispered
"Bella don't do this, i know why you are acting like this and just-" he started but i hang up and walked back inside
"Who were you speaking to darling?" Ed asked looking at some papers
"Just a friend, what are we eating?" I asked
I know i wanted van, and that i loved him but i did this for him so that he could move on and forget about me, and the best way to do that is to leave England for a while and start a few life without him or Matty so that they could he happy without me.

"You must really like me, huh?" Ed whispered as i sat down on his lip "I really do.." I whispered kissing his lips, he smiled "i'm glad you came to New York with me.." he whispered after i broke away "yeah?" I said he nodded "You have to know that you are really special to me Bella" he said, I nodded
"I know.." I whispered smiling kissing his cheek standing up
"You got a dress or anything for the event tonight?" He asked, i turned my head to look at him and chuckled "you weren't serious about that were you?" I said brushing a hand through my hair "I was, love" he said smirking "me? To a red carpet event?" I said shaking my head
"Oh come on, you will the highlight of the night, look at that gorgeous face, that perfect body, they will be all over you" he said standing up I looked at the ground "I don't know..you really want me to go?" I asked looking at him "I would love to bring you, but if you don't wanna go we'll do something else.." he said
I looked at him "you know what? I would love to go with you but the problem is...I didn't bring a red carpet kind of dress with me.." I chuckled "we'll get a dress then, lets go"

I opened the curtains "what do you think?" I said looking at Ed who was waiting for me to show the dresses that i was fitting
He didn't say anything for a few seconds, he looked at me in awe
"Christ.." he whispered standing up walking towards me "you are breathtaking aren't you" he said looking at me up and down
I giggled "shut up" looking into the mirror "you truly are, look at that" he said looking at me while i was looking into the mirror "you think i should get this?" I asked
I wore a beautiful long silver dress covered in fake diamonds with the back cutout.
"Is that even a question?" He said
I smiled and pecked his lips
I changed and walked out of the fitting room
"Right, let me pay that i will be right ba-" he started and grabbed the dress "what? No I'll pay for the dress i can't let you-" I started but he cut me off "Bella, let me pay?" He said looking at me
I smiled shaking my head, i looked at him and gave in "I owe you one" I said with a wink he shook his head smiling
After that, we had a coffee and walked around the city for a bit.
