Pathetic Poster Problems 😑

UGGHHHHHHH...

I'm out of breath from sighing. My face is red from facepalming. Your eyes will be swollen from being rolled too much as you read. Proceed at your own risk, and NO, I will not include the posters in question. The reasoning will be obvious immediately.

----

Posters of a Muslim woman making out with a Jewish man in a yarmulke are pasted all over a city in the Netherlands, causing feminists and Muslims in the local community to freak out.

On a message board for Moroccans living in the Netherlands, one person compared the campaign to “hanging up posters on one of [the Jewish] holy days of Hitler kissing Anne Frank to criticize the Torah because it says that Jewish women may not marry non-Jews.”

The city council of Rotterdam produced the posters to raise awareness about the right of women to choose their romantic partners. In some strict Muslim communities, women who start a romantic relationship with a person from a different background can face violence or even murder, forced marriage, or being taken to their family’s land of origin and left there. At the top of each poster are the words “In the Netherlands, you choose your own partner” and at the bottom it says, “Do you feel free to choose?”

Leefbaar (Livable) Rotterdam, a populist-right party co-founded by assassinated Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, proposed the poster campaign. They are the largest party in the Rotterdam city council and frequently use their majority to address problems with the integration of the city’s large Muslim community.

The posters have drawn criticism from an unlikely group — Dutch feminists. They have been particularly harsh on Shirin Musa, founder of women’s rights groupFemmes for Freedom (FFF), because she helped develop the posters. Shirin is a "Muslim" who wears a headscarf. Dutch feminists say she is a tool of the far-right.

Anja Meulenbelt, a prominent Dutch feminist and politician, wrote on her public Facebook page: “Shirin Musa, with FFF, likes to pretend she is the only one concerned about the rights of women in general and honor-related violence in particular…we should not be surprised that no one, except right-wing Islamophobes, is interested in working with her.” In a subsequent comment she accuses Shirin of being out for financial gain.

Shirin responds that Dutch feminists have grown up with basic freedoms and do not understand the problems faced by some Muslim women. She points to a recent feminist campaign against perceived gender stereotyping in children’s toy catalogues. “I don’t want to disappoint my sisters who are going after the ‘luxury rights,'” shesaid, “These are important issues, but it’s not a question of life and death.”

Dutch Muslim politicians claim they support the rights being promoted in the posters, but say the image of a Muslim kissing a Jew does more harm than good. Nourdin el Ouali is the head of NIDA, which describes itself as “an Islam-inspired emancipation campaign that developed into a political party in Rotterdam.” Hetold Dutch media, “I think this is stereotyping, ethnocentric and provocative.” He also said, “This campaign sends out the message that ‘our culture is the best culture.'” Tunahan Kuzu, an MP with Denk, a national political party for Muslims, called the posters “polarizing and paternalistic.”

Other posters in the campaign feature a Muslim woman kissing a Dutch man, two white women kissing each other, and a woman of South Asian ethnicity kissing a black man.

So sick of stupid stunts like this. And the fact that a "Muslim" is not only supportive but on board with it? I hate these uncle tom types looking for attention and kissing up these days. They're everywhere and it's most infuriating to see "Muslims" do it. "Muslims" attacking Islam to please right or left wing non-Muslims and kiss up to their ideologies. "Muslims" who want to challenge the laws of Islam, the guidelines sent down in the Quran, for people who Allah already mentioned will never truly care about them. They use them for their anti-Islam agendas and that's it.

People like this mook Shirin  (I edited out the parts the address her solely by last name because no way would she deserve being tied even by name to one of the 5 greatest humans to ever exist) and other mooks we have around the world, they're nothing but sellouts and liars. They preach the words of hypocrites and liars, opposing truth and goodness just for attention.

Either they want to water things down to appease liberal lillies and sugarcoat Islam for them, or they want to attack Islam and try to make it seem backwards and oppressive to appease the conservative jerks who think they're superior and "civilized."

Whatever side of the political spectrum their kissing up to, they'll never succeed. They'll just get crapped on in this life and potentially face MAJOR consequences in the next unless they repent and/or Allah forgives them. These people are playing a dangerous game. Their wicked tactics are going to be something to regret, most assuredly.

And for the mooks who think "oh it's 2017, why should we mind anyone's business what they do? Oh why can't a Muslimah marry a nonMuslim? I (or someone I know) come(s) from an interreligious relationship and it's fine. Oh it's sexist if a Muslim man can marry a (clean pious) Jew or Christian but a woman can't. It's 2017. That was for the past. A woman can keep her religion and the kids can choose for themselves. Oh everyone can pick their own path to God and Heaven."

Stop.

Read a book.

It's called the Quran. Guess what? It has no expiration date either. The rules weren't just for "those times." Just because we have cars and cell phones nowadays doesn't exempt us from the laws of Allah.

First and foremost the reason a woman isn't permitted to marry a non-Muslim is simply put BECAUSE ALLAH SAID SO. After that, no questions asked.

We can attempt to decipher the wisdom behind the ruling, but ultimately, no mattet what, the rule still stands even if you think it's irrelevant or should be changed to match man-made societal ideologies. Even until the day we have flying cars or better yet global warming has made much of the earth uninhabitable because racist tangerines and mooks like him decide to deny climate change, even then, the rules still apply. Allah perfected this religion and completed His favor to us, there are no amendments to be made in the Quran. And there is only one path to Jannah.

The rules in place have their wisdoms and the consequences for going against them are evident enough. We don't need sellouts and wannabes kissing up to some political party to try to change things and encourage evil actions.

And for the record, that whole thing about life and death and murder and so-called 'honor' killings. That's not Islam either. Just throwing that out there because I'm sick of people always jumping to one extreme or the other.

Anyways, I'm done ranting for now because my mood and energy have changed drastically since I started this due to personal happenings around me at the moment. So I'm going to post.  Comment away people....
