•Chapter 5•
There were water slides all over the place. Families being admitted, lines of people queueing up for rides. It was legitimately everything I'd dreamed of.
"This place gets better every time!" I heard someone say. Brandon. Everybody got out of the car.
"Isn't the admission a bit...pricey?" I asked.
"Don't worry, Lynnie. My mum knows a guy." Ace answered.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Cody yelled, his voice cracking a little.
We got in and Cody immediately dragged us to "The Bowl". It was some funnel ride. We split into two groups of seven. Joel, Gabe, Greg, Emilia, Eva, Malcolm, Ace and I on one.
Of course when we were queueing, tons of girls recognised Ace and asked him to ride with them. He declined but made out with each and everyone of them.
"Ew," I muttered and pretended to vomit at the sight at which some of the girls, having their made-out sessions, glared at me. I didn't really care though so I made retarded-looking faces back at them. Emilia half-snorted, half-chuckled when she saw me.
The barbie-airhead girls rolled their eyes and Eva remarked, "Don't roll your eyes. They might get stuck there."
"Whatever" one of them responded in her high-pitched, hyena voices. Hm...reminded me of someone.
They all turned their backs and left.
Ace returned to our group fixing his hair, and put his shades back on. "Nice," he commented on Eva's remarks.
"Eh, that was nothing. I have more straight-up fi-yaa!" she sang as she bobbed her head.
"Please don't ever do that again." I pleaded.
Eva was such a weirdo. *Insert laughing-cry emoji here.
I squealed. It was finally our turn. I got into the float, sitting in between Ace and Emilia. Ace and the other guys had taken off their shirts earlier and holy smokes, Ace had a perfect six pack. I didn't notice I was checking him out until,
"Like what you see?" Ace asked, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
My cheeks flushed but I replied, "I've seen better."
In my dreams.
We all proceeded to cling onto the handles of the float as the person in-charge started counting down.
"Three."
"Two."
"One!" he pressed a button and we were off!
"AHHHHHH!" Joel screamed the whole way down.
"This is lit!" I yelled
"What? I can't hear you because of Joel!" Emi hollered back.
That statement shut Joel up for a while but he continued almost instantly.
We had reached a steep drop and everybody joined in the screaming as the wind whipped past us, sending our hair flying. The thing I loved about rides was the heart-drop feeling when going down.
Splash!
We had reached the bottom, all soaked but laughing hysterically.
"That. Was. So. Much. FUN!" Greg boomed.
"Yeah!"
"Totes."
"Definitely!"
"Let's go again then," Gabe suggested.
